LOL the  weavers pray and we hear the angels sing


Weaver and Gaghan try to figure it out, as the "Desperate Housewives" figure it out first.

Godlewski: Omigod! We caught up!!
Gaghan, Weaver, Godlewski grab vans and start them .. only to find they're stick shifts with hinky shifters. Lots of stalling.

Gaghans move into 3rd.
Godlewski, 4th.
Bransen, 5th, arguing who'll ask directions.
Nobody does.
Dad's chicken; they're stubborn.
Weavers pray aloud, thank the Lord for seeing a familiar sign.

Paolos reach ...
LOCKED GATES.
Equalizer!
Park's closed.

Linz, Gaghan, Godlewski, Weaver, Bransen, follow and wait till dawn.

Mad dash at grand opening! Run! Run! Run!
And "kids are free!"

And run, they do ...
Linz, CLUE: Something's brewing at the Doka Estate.
Phil: 17 miles away at a coffee plantation, the next clue.
Teams run back to the vans, from the volcanic mountain. Kewl!

Wow first of 2 Yields only !!  Paolos yield WEAVERS

In order, Linz, Gaghan, Paolo, Weaver, Godlewski, and no-stickshift-Bransen bringing up the rear.

Teams tailgate on a narrow road.
Linz make a vow to be "mean for a day."
Weavers, ask directions. Gaghans pass.
Someone: GO SO WE CAN YIELD THEM!!

puddin:
Jaco not Quepos.. saw that in my travels

puddin:

 Quickly, the Godlewskis find the red bean!
CLUE, Godlewski: Travel to JACO.
Phil: At this surf shop, Javier will give them the next clue.
Mom Paolo gets the second red bean.

Weaver: The Cleavers yielded us!

Linz, red bean in 3rd place, head for Jaco.

Weaver daughter: They're all ganged up against us!
Mom: They are!

Bransen, 4th finishing the beans, head for Jaco.
Mom Gaghan is getting frustrated, raking through coffee beans.
Dad: Just stay what you're doing.

Meanwhile, as the hourglass slowly empties ...
Mom Weaver: We may be eliminated! We're in last place!
Daugher Weaver: No one wants us here!
