Maybe they caught the 6 a.m. flight since they would be at the airport very early. According to Airwise:
Depart Arrive Carrier/Flight Duration
6:00am PTY 6:03am SJO TA 0522 1:03 hrs.
10:15am PTY 10:30am SJO CM 0116 1:15 hrs.
11:00am PTY 11:17am SJO CM 0824 1:17 hrs.
11:50am PTY 12:10pm SJO YH 0229 1:20 hrs.

TES announced this morning that the latest castoff family from TAR8 would be on TES tomorrow morning. So it is indeed an ELIMINATION LEG tonight!!
I'm puzzled about the shots of the Paolo Family wandering around seemingly deserted streets - they are ambling along in the middle of the road - at night. If the arrived at the Miraflores Lock pit stop between 9 and 10AM they would be leaving after a 12 or 36 hour pitstop at 9 or 10PM. If the clue said to proceed to fly to Costa Rica, then wouldn't they head to the airport directly by cab? So what are they doing wandering around Panama City at night? Or do they receive a clue to proceed somewhere else first? Or are these shots in San Jose? We have other shots of teams in Panama, particularly the Godlewski Sisters begging with lots of traffic and people about at night. Which could be late at night around midnight.
But once they get to San Jose, Costa Rica it is early morning.
We have:
1. Visit to Vocan Vistor's Center
2. ROADBCLOCK - Coffee Bean, coffee bean, where fore art thou?
We know we have the Linz, Gaghan, and Bransens there at the same time at the Doka Estates
It is starts early in the day and then gets warmer as the hunt gets colder.
3. DETOUR - Carry the Idol over troubled waters: Bransen, Linz, Weaver
Carry the bananas over the split - Paolo
Missing in action: Godlewskis and Gaghans
If the policy follows then the Gaghans will be the penultamate family once again and the Weavers go home. Or vice-versa
Not very good, but a lot of time spent putting up Halloween decorations to freighten away all the neighborhood kids, and now they must all come down before it rains tonight.
Will be very curious to see how all this plays out tonight.

i keep getting this weird vibe at work that the godlewskis are going home. the canada spoiler is sounding more and more like a decoy run to me. especially if the family with kids is the gaghans. they both go sooner and it would be cheaper to run them around north america while the teams still in it run elsewhere.
that being said, i have the gaghans to go home tonight.
my thoughts from the previews, the weavers are shown stuck (very safe), the branson and linz families having fun with the heights (safe), the paulos lost in the street (also very safe), and the godlewskis begging for money (unsure). no real sign of the gaghans? they've been falling behind maybe once too often.
supsandalee:
They made a point last week of the Gaghans saying "we just have to stay ahead of one team". They said it during the race and to Phil at the mat. Sounds like a setup to me.

and Daddy Gaghan cussed infront of the children ..sonofabitch , & Damn ! (:;) ! sorta gives them the ugly editing .. )<
