Phil voice: The following episode of TAR was filmed in Mississippi and Louisiana before it was devastated by Katrina. We salute those who are coping with its aftermath.

Eight teams left Virginia for South Carolina. The Aiellos and Schroeders questioned the Weavers' behavior. Detour, the Bransens hit their stride, Aiellos lost momentum, and Gaghans zoomed by. Then the NASA centrifuge gave a wild ride. In the end, Bransen 1st. Aiellos landed last, eliminated.

Now, seven families remain. Who will be eliminated next?

Schroeder, (time blocked by the WJZ news crawler reminding me that the tunnels were blocked today due to a terrorist threat)

Godlewski (time still blocked by crawler, the FBI is interviewing 30 peeps ...)

Weaver, (time still blocked by crawler)
They say a brief prayer, ask for strength.

Paolos leave (time still blocked ...)
Paolos argue? Who knew!?
Gaghans leave, 3:33 pm.

Bransen, CLUE: Drive yourselves to Talladega, ALA.
Phil: At the Int'l Motorsports hall of fame museum, the next clue.
Dad Bransen: It has a huge stock car race.
DUH!

Mom Weaver, conf: My husband was killed at a race track.

Linz, 2nd to the chair, get Talladega CLUE.
They realize it's farther down I-20.
At least someone can follow a map!

Schroeders, 3rd, head for Talladega.
Godlewski 4th.

Bransens find the Hall of Fame Museum.
CLUE: Make your way into the Talladega Super Speedway, and complete 1 lap around the track.
Phil: They won't be driving a race car. Instead, a party bike, a multiperson vehicle. It's a 2.6 mile bike ride for their next clue.
Linz, 2nd, reach the museum
Schroeder, 3rd to the museum

Man with flag: READY ... GO!!

Gaghans reach the chair, get CLUE in 5th.
What happened to the other teams!?

Weaver, 6th.
Mom: Oh, my lord.
Daughter: I don't really want to go there!
Mom: So don't go. Just sit in the car.

Meanwhile, the Paolos argue.
