Julie: 80 days ago, 14 people walked into the house with the goal of winning a half-million. Now, it’s down to maggie and Ivette!
The audience cheers wildly!
This season on Big Brother 6...
14 Hgs moved in, each playing the game with a secret partner. The house quickly divided, with Eric leading a majority against the Outcasts. But Kaysar rallied the outcasts and exposed the pairs. He organized the Sovereign Six, dividing the house in two and taking out Eric. With Eric gone, Maggie took the reins and created the Friendship. She targeted Kaysar, who was evicted. Howie won head of Household and Maggie convinced him to turn on ally James. James saved himself with the veto, and Sarah took the fall instead. In a surprise, America voted Kaysar back into the house. He battled Jennifer for HoH, striking a deal and letting her win. She and the friendship betrayed him and evicted him. The Sovereigns were enraged. The 2 sides battled back and forth, losing players in turn. Eventually it was Janelle against the last 3 friendship women, and April was evicted. Janelle took Ivette to the last round of HoH, but Ivette turned down her deal and eventually won HoH, evicting Janelle. Now, it’s down to Ivette and Maggie after 79 days. After surprises, betrayal, romance, heartache, confrontation, and triumph, 12 Hgs are gone and 7 will form the BB6 jury.
Julie: 12 of the houseguests have been sent packing, but hopes are stilla live for Maggie and Ivette. Who will be crowned the winner?
The jurors have seen only selected events. Ythey have seenno perosnal conversations or DR interviews. Their votes will be cast live.
One finalist played the game quietly, the other played with her emotions on her sleeve.
Ivette says her goal was to be blunt, honest, and loud. We see her getting Cuban.
Maggie says what got her this far was her loyalty. She didn’t open her mouth even when it was tempting. She says she wanted to say things but bit her tongue. She says she loves attention outside the house, but didn’t want to clash with strong personalities in the game.
Ivette says her family is her heart, and that’s what got her here.
Maggie says she didn’t break the trust of anyone she cares about.
The jury discussed the game amongst each other as they waited hteir last memeber...
Jennifer is sure it’ll be Janelle coming. April isn’t so sure. James says he doesn’t give a damn, but he wants the winner to be the best player, not the one who kissed ass.
Janelle walks in! She gives hugs to her friends. They ask her what happened. She says Ivette took her out. She describes the deal that Ivette turned down. Janelle says she has a big heart. James says she kicked her family in the ass by doing that. It’s crazy to pick a temporary friend over family, he says.
April describes their deal–no one could take a Jedi to the end, lest they lose jury votes.
Beayu says this proves she’s bot a dirty player. Janelle admits it opened her eyes.
Howie says how come she decided to play with integrity now. Janelle says the only time she broke integrity was with Kaysar.
James doesn’t think anyone played with integrity–it’s a silly concept.
Howie says maybe Maggie didn t win much, but she might have kept her word more.
Rachel says Ivette made it personal–she was a big peice of trash.
Janelle calls Maggie a terrible competitor. Howie says she own once and then went and hid. April says Maggie knew she knew she’d be carried. Jennifer thinks that was strategy and it worked for her.
April pointed out that Ivette didn’t win until late. James thinks that’s badass competitiveness.
Beau asks if under the radar was Maggie’s strategy. James thinks that Maggie kept them around because they were better targets. James admits it’s great strategy, as does Jennifer.
April asks if Maggie manipulated the Friendship. She says it’s not like we didn’t know that (?) April thinks Maggie deserves to be there.
Rachel says Maggie deserves to be there as well. She played well, and was a strong competitor.
Howie says they played different kinds of games.
Why the backdoor? That's so undignified.
Each jury member got a chance to ask a question, and the finalists could talk to the jurors and make their cases.
James! Maggie calls him best friend.
He asks Maggie what moment got her to the end. She says it’s because of her team members.
Rachel asks Ivette why she shouldn’t vote for Maggie. She says she can’t say why not; Maggie has played hard.
Howie: Ivette, did you play with integrity? She says she didn’t lie and did play with integirty–sometimes she was too honest.
Janelle: Ivette, you said you’re playing for your family. Don’t you think you made a mistake by not taking my deal? She says she wouldn’t have been forgiven for breakking her promise.
Janelle tells Maggie she hasn’t done much–why should she win? She says she avoided the spotlight, but was strategic.
Beay ask Maggie what his strategy was when Cappy left. She says it was all about not getting evicted–she only made her main friendships afterward.
April: Ivette, you didn’t win till the end. Were you throwing the comps, or were better players leaving the house winning? She says she had been nervous, and her only safety was winning HoH or hoping you guys won. So I didn’t throw anything
Jennifer asks Maggie who the first ne was to bring up Kaysar’s name. She says she honestly doesn’t know. Ivette says she’ll take the blame for it.
Addressing the jurors:
Maggie: I haven’t been able to display how well a player I was. My strategic moves were not to be the aggressor–blend in and maintain my competitive edge, lose some competitions and let others take a bigger role.
Ivette: It’s hard to say why I deserve it more, but I do deserve it because I created being Ivette (?) And I’m proud of that. I volunteered myself for my team–it’s been a hard game and a long road, and I m’ so grateful.
Maggie tells Ivette she wants a hug–“what the hell”?
The jury: James says he might have changed his mind–originally pointing towards Maggie; now leaning towards Ivette.
April says one was an open book, and one was a closed book. They both worked.
Janelle says she never liked Ivette much, but she was a stronger competitor,
Jennifer says she’s 50-50–she found out something about Maggie tonight.
Julie introduces the jurors. The Friendship get noticeably less applause than the Jedi.
Maggie in the house is worried that they hate them both.
Voting! We see Maggie and Ivette in the house, in the chairs. The jurors will pull out keys representing Maggie and Ivette. They have to insert the key of their choice, but will be able to make a quick statement before voting.
Beau first. He says he’s proud of them. Maggie, we’ve had amazing memories; Ivette, I’m so proud of you for stepping up to the plate.
April now. She says they look beautiful. It’s been a long long road, and we’ve ben waiting for this day. It’s great out here seeing the fans. It was a hard decision. You’re both the total package.
James now (Julie rushes him along after April ran on)...he says you’ve done an outstanding job–thanks for putting up with me. He votes.
Rachel’s turn. She says she’s voting for the most complete player, personally and competitively.
Janelle–she congratulates them and says it was a hard decision–do I pick the better player, or take personal stuff into account?
Jennifer’s turn–she says I love you Maggie, good luck Ivette. She says she’s glad 2 from their group made it to the end.
Julie says Howie is last because he’s the star of the show (applause)–Howie says he can’t vote for America’s Choices Kaysar and Janey (HUGE applause), but don’t hate the Hgs , hate the game.
The first 5 Hgs are being reintroduced. They’ve seen everything, so this will be the first the jurors have heard about the whole show.
Kaysar gets the biggest applause, obviously.
Julie says, One big happy family–not.
Julie starts with Sarah, since she didn’t cause much trouble–she says she wishes James had been aware of the loyalty of Rachel, Janelle, and Howie. She knows she didn’t leave because of them.
Julie asks James if that surprises him. He says not really–it was nuts in there.
Julie asks Eric what went on that he wishes Maggie knew–he says not much, because she was a great player by not saying much. Only at the end when April and Ivette fought did she have to step in. She had everyone figured out–I can’t blame James for thinking she was a cop.
Michael, people attacked you in the house. Some of these people later say they regretted believing things. He says he’s gotten great feedback, so that was payback enough from people who saw what was really happening.
Julie brings up Howie’s attack on April. We see it again...April has her head down. Howie says it was strictly for cover and he gives April a kiss on the cheek. He apologizes to April, Matt and Pepperoni. April says Howie is Howie. Apparently, they were roommates (in the jury house?)
Julie asks April about Janelle winning America’s Choice, and we see that too. April says being in the house makes you emotional. She says Ivette was upset...she says she doesn’t think that really about all of us–it was a crazy mess in there. She apologizes to the fans and Janelle.
Julie tells them Kaysar got 82% of the vote. Julie brings up Jennifer’s broken promise. Kaysar tells Jennifer she should think for herself next time. Jennifer says she did think for herself–no applause.
Eric says Kaysar got upset at Jennifer for breaking her word, but he did the same to me. Julie urges them to drop the subject.
Julie inivtes Sarah and James to hug...so they do.
We see Maggie and Ivette again...they will watch it all. Maggie and Ivette clutch hands but look fairly composed. The votes are called out–Beau, April, James, Rachel, Janelle, Jennifer, Howie in that order.
Maggie is announced as the winner! She smiles but is really pretty calm. Ivette hugs her and whispers something.
Maggie walks onto the set. Eric hugs her. Ivette follows. Everybody hugs everybody. Janelle grabs Kaysar.
Julie asks Maggie to come over. Her boyfriend and folks are here, everyone hugs. Ivette says hi to her family as well and then starts making out with Tushy.
Not much time when we come back from the break...Maggie says I feel awesome; I’m so happy. She has gifts to buy, family to take care of, she says she’ll buy furniture too. Julie brings up taxes–we don’t want another Richard Hatch. Julie says Ivette has won her 50K, which is certainly true.
And that’s it for what Julie calls “an unforgettable season”...so why was our winner so forgettable?
