OK, I missed the Rogers and they do look lost. Pity poor Brock who has to drive on the infamous Washington Beltway - eight lanes of bumper to bumper madness - this is not Shreveport, Louisiana!!

Standings after 1 leg:

1. Godlewski
2. Gaghan
3. Weaver
4. Rogers
5. Schroeder
6. Paolo
7. Bransen
8. Aiello
9. Linz
x10. Black

You know, I was hoping that they'd leave the U.S., but with a Civil War reenactment coming up, I'm kinda thinking that it's not happening this week. I am curious as to how the Roadblocks will play out though. Not worried about the Aiello and Linz teams trailing behind, as there's lots of Race to go, and even good teams can have poor first legs - the key is surviving that first leg.

Before I give out my Philimination pick of the week, I should point out that the 'word' came about during one of the early races, and that CBS even markets a T-Shirt with the phrase. Twenty bucks... Cheap!!

Anyways, my Philimination pick is:

I still think that they will be getting down to Central America, which is technically still part of North America. On CBS.com the route map is being laid out on an outline that stretches from Canada down to Colombia, SA. If they were only going as far south as Texas, I think outline map would only include that much of NA.

I can still hope and we do have flash shots of Panama Little League team and colorful Macaw (Beliz) And this would mean at least two or three airline hops which should be fun with 6 people needing tickets for each team.
