TAR8 EP2~"How Do We Know We Aren't Going To Get Shot?"

<< < (29/37) > >>

rmax:
It would make sense to extend the pit stop period "for the sake of the children."  Who knows, there may even be some kind of child safety law that ensures there's enough rest time?  Also, we know in the past that some pit stops lasted as long as 36 hours (didn't Gretchen say they had that long a pitstop in Africa?)

More TAR history: IN TAR5, Brandon and Nicole were saved by a NEL after going for the "shave your heads" FF (and refusing to do it) in India.

Latest 'Amazing Race' targets Gettysburg, re-enactment
Tuesday, October 04, 2005
BY KIRA L. SCHLECHTER
Of The Patriot-News
After passing through Philadelphia, Mount Joy and Lancaster last week, the 10 families of four vying for the $1 million prize on CBS' hit reality show "The Amazing Race" visit Gettysburg on tonight's episode, finding themselves in the midst of a Civil War re-enactment.

The show, in its eighth season, is hosted by Phil Keoghan.

A call for comment about the show was placed to the Gettysburg Anniversary Committee, which presents the re-enactments, but it was not returned by press time.
One stop on the series' premiere episode was the Brubaker farm in Mount Joy; another was the Rohrer Family Farm in Lancaster.
