Maybe its a portfolio with maps and such?
Must be convenient that the Racers to have their own SUV's, they don't have to worry about lugging backpacks around ...must be nice .

From all indications they will, however, have to give up their own private SUV's in South Carolina or before. If they arrive at the Washinton Area pitstop in mid or late afternoon then they would leave early (like 2 or 3AM) to drive down the hated Interstate 95 to South Carolina. And Sunday morning before sunrise is the ONLY repeat ONLY time to drive that route. Probably would arrive in early morning (unless they all get lost again, but how can you get lost if you drive directly down south on I95??) Here they would have to give up their SUV's to take bus to NASA Space Camp in Alabama Where they pick up more SUV's (with built in mircro cameras!)
