LANCASTER COUNTY, PA - The reality show “The Amazing Race: Family Edition” sneaked into Lancaster County this summer, filming an episode that aired on the season premiere of the show Tuesday night on CBS.
The farm of P. Kenneth Rohrer, 3407 Blue Rock Road, became the final destination of the first installment for the 10 families competing in the race.
In the next 10 weeks, they will be traveling all over the world and the winning family will take home $1 million.
“They filmed here in July,” Rohrer says. “I can’t really say anything else.
I signed an agreement that said we weren’t allowed to talk about it for three years. I’m not sure why it’s so long. We assumed that when it came on the air, it wouldn’t matter, but that’s the agreement.”
“They were real quiet when they were here,” says neighbor Glenn Rohrer, who’s not related to Rohrer.
