Big Brother 6 – The Friendship Takes Control Of The Game
Big Brother fans were outraged on Friday when CBS cut the live feeds again in order to keep certain competitive elements of the game secret.  After watching Saturday night’s episode, Big Brother fans that were sticking around in hopes of seeing Howie Gordon or Janelle Pierzina take home the half-million dollar prize will probably be doing their own black out of the live feeds.

Howie gets two light sabers in his head of household gift basket. Beau seems to be particularly impressed by Howie’s light saber and engages Howie in some “sword fighting” when the lights go off.

Holly King from Big Brother 5 shows up to host the power of veto competition which is called “Big Brother Casino.”  The competition is set up like a craps game and involves betting on the roll of a pair of dice and answering questions correctly.  Holly King instructs the houseguests that “If you want to win a power that is totally neato then you have to make sure that you roll me a veto.”  Maggie Ausburn wins the power of veto.

In an ironic series of events, Maggie asks Howie to come talk to her in the HOH room.  Howie asks Janelle to come with him, but Maggie says she just wants to talk to Howie.  Howie insists that he needs Janelle with him.  Maggie then says nevermind and beckons Beau, Ivette, and April to come with her.  She then complains about how Howie isn’t his own person and can’t make a decision without Janelle.  Maggie then proceeds to tell her team that she can’t make a decision on using the power of veto and asks her team to make the decision.

Maggie toys with the idea of using the veto, even though she knows that it will result in April going up.  Maggie says that strategically it would be better for her to use the veto and keep a pair in the game because then they would be the target before her.  April Lewis is reduced to tears that Maggie would even think about using the power of veto.  In the end, Maggie stays loyal to April and doesn’t use the veto.  By a unanimous vote, Beau Beasley is evicted from the Big Brother house.

The head of household competition is called “Magnetic Attraction.”  Houseguests are asked questions based on questionnaires that were filled out by the houseguests before they entered the house.  Of course considering the closeness of “The Friendship,” it would seem obvious that a competition that involves how well the houseguests know each other would give an advantage to “The Friendship.”  However, two of the three questions that Janelle misses turn out be questions about houseguests in her own alliance, so she probably can’t complain too much about it being too unfair.  Maggie and Ivette wind up in a tiebreaker, and Ivette Corredero wins her first head of household competition.

Since it’s likely that either Janelle or Howie will be going home in the next eviction, “The Friendship” is virtually assured that someone on their team will win Big Brother 6.  Even if either Howie or Janelle winds up making it to the final two, “The Friendship” will control the majority of jury votes and will likely select whoever remains from their team to win.

Beau booted from 'Big Brother'

By JOHN POWELL -- JAM! Showbiz

Beau Beau is gone gone. (Photo Courtesy of CBS).
Beau? Who dat?

The Invisible Man of 'Big Brother 6', Beau Beasley, disappeared completely out of the house on tonight's not-so live special eviction broadcast. Beau, who stayed under the radar most of the series and probably had less air time than host Julie Chen, was kicked by The Disciples Alliance who were forced to pick between him and his official partner, Ivette Corredero.

Beau's expulsion put the nail in the coffin of this year's secret partnership twist, as there are no official couples left. Unless the producers alter the rules, no one now has a chance at winning the special 1 million dollar prize. Before the season had begun, the producers announced that the players were actually pairs who knew each other in the outside world and if one team could end up being the last two people in the house, the winner would take home 1 million dollars and the second place finisher $250,000. The producers stated that if a twosome did not make it to the final two, the winner of 'Big Brother 6' would score $500,000.

In his interview on the Couch of Shame with Julie Chen, Beau stated that he didn't regret voting out James Rhine rather than Howie Gordon who eventually nominated him for eviction this week.

"You have to do what you have to do when business is on the line. Business is business and you have to do what is best for you and your group. Sometimes it bites you in the butt but you gotta do what you gotta do. I am not regretful for what I have done in the house at all," said Beau.

"She has an amazing chance of getting to the end. She has an amazing knowledge of the game. She plays it with her heart. She plays it with strategy as well so it is going to take her far," Beau said of his partner, Ivette. Beau is now the fourth member of the 'Big Brother 6' jury.

The not-so "special guest" hyped at the end of Thursday's episode was revealed to be none other than the highly irritating 'Big Brother 5' HouseGuest Holly King. She hosted the crapshoot Veto Competition won by Maggie Ausburn. Maggie waffled about using the Power of Veto to the point of telling new alliance mate April Lewis that she might end up being nominated if Maggie elected to save Ivette. The news brought the habitual crier to tears. In the end, Maggie did not use the Veto and left Howie's nominations intact.

As part of another double eviction week, a second Head of Household was crowned. In a shamelessly biased competition, it was Ivette who brought home the victory for the Disciples during a tiebreaker round against Maggie. The majority of questions asked by Chen during the challenge favoured the Disciples in some fashion based on the everyday conversations held over the course of the season on the 24/7 live Internet feeds.

As part of another double eviction week, CBS blacked out the 24/7 Internet feeds from the house from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning to keep the happenings of Saturday's broadcast under wraps. Ivette's nominations will air on Tuesday's broadcast. Unless alliances change in the house, it is likely that the last two Outcast Alliance members - Howie Gordon and Janelle Pierzina - will be targeted for the big boot by The Disciples.

Why are the feeds blacked out or showing fish in Big Brother 6?

  Question
Why do I see just the fish tank in Big Brother 6?

  Answer
BB6 live feeds are unavailable from Friday morning, September 2, until after the TV broadcast on Saturday evening (9pm PT / 12am ET), September 3, so that certain competitive results are not revealed in advance of Saturday's broadcast.

During this weekend blackout, the first three cameras are showing episodes of House Calls: Camera 1, Evicted House Guests; Camera 2, Special Guests; Camera 3, Latest Episodes. Camera 4 and the Quad Cam will show the fish tank.

Reminder: As a SuperPass subscriber, you also get $10 in free music downloads and a free game every month. You can also enter the Big Brother 6 Sweepstakes to win a trip to the Big Brother finale in Los Angeles.

At any time during the Big Brother season, if you see the fish tank with a "Be right back!" message, the feed is not down. CBS reserves the right to limit, delay, or block the live camera feeds at these times:

- When the live show airs (Tuesdays 9pm ET/PT, Thursdays and Saturdays 8PM ET/PT).
- During potentially inappropriate scenes (including nudity or other adult rated situations).
- Intermittently during houseguest challenges, preparation for the live show, and other times chosen by CBS.

Scenario:

Evilette noms Howie and Janelle

POV Comp
Howie wins, uses on himself or give up to Janelle
Janelle wins, uses on herself
anybody else wins, not used

If Howie or Janelle win and use on themselves, April goes up

Eviction, if Howie's veto'd, Janelle's gone, and vice versa, April safe no matter what

HOH comp, If Janelle's still there and wins, nom Evilette and Scaggie  and same goes for Howie if he's there and wins HOH again

Big Brother keeps trying to screw us. I say let's screw them!
I thought that when we fought, I was to blame
Now I know you play a different game
I've seen you dance with danger; still wanting more
