I know, we have a 50/50 chance of being right on this.  I was imagining Jeff reading the votes this way:

"Tom"
"Katie"
"Tom"
"Katie"
"That's 2 votes Tom,  votes Katie"
"Tom"
"Tom"
"...the winner of Survivor: Palau is...Tom!"

Of course, it go just the other way, he could read Katie's 1 or 2 votes, then just go Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom.

Actually that's a really good point rmax...probably will be more like what you're saying..that would be longer (albeit by minutes only)  drama for sure..yep yep the more I think about it the more it seems right.

Oh Lill, I would die if Katie wins! Well, not literally, but a little part of me would die...

At this point, I'd like to see Ian win, but since that isn't likely, I guess I'd rather see Tom win. Though after his strong-arm tactics last night (remember Coby saying about Tom "It's Tom's way or the highway"), I was a little bit disenchanted with Tom.

So whoever wins, I think Palau will be regarded as one of the better ones in the series.  If Tom does win, there will be plenty of comments to the effect that he was "most deserving."

If Katie somehow wins, there will be plenty of complaints about "bitter jury" members.  But I still don't see Coby, Janu, Steph or Gregg as bitter.

i haven't made my picks yet as i'm clinging to hope that ian makes it to final 2 somehow despite spoilers. he could beat tom as a final 2 partner after last night for sure. since i have both on my team, i am reluctant to give ian up just yet. but will have to make my picks sooner or later or face the off chance of another riii crash. don't want to have to pay the 70 points to put ian back on my team, sigh.

i'm going to be very busy with kid stuff all weekend so went ahead and made the mw picks. fingers crossed now.
