I also swapped R&A for M&G. I'm kicking myself right now for not choosing them last week. :':')
Here's what I think will go on:
Romber and Ron & Kelly decide to go for the unconfirmed seats, as the other two teams have booked tics for the later flight. Thinking it's do or die, they decide to take the chance, but the gamble did not pay off.
So both U&J and M&G do the roadblock early in the morning, and the detour next. That's why knowing they are ahead, U&J have no qualms in helping the elder couple.
R&K yields R&A (maybe foreshadowing with Rob saying they were not bright to yield them), but now R&K shows that they are smarter, by keeping to use the yield at a later time, causing Romber the race.
