Kelly: R/A and we are arriving at 8:45 this morning.
Rob: They're (U/J and M/G) not on our plane. I'm confident we've gained the lead.

Phil: All four teams are on their way to Istanbul. They'll find their next clue at this island lighthouse.

Arriving first, U/J and M/G get on a train in Istanbul.
Joyce: To see the world and experience these adventures together is just amazing!

Rob/Amber and Ron/Kelly arrive and get on the metrorail.
Rob/Amber get out of the airport first.
Ron/Kelly miss a train.
The clear lead is M/G and U/J, in a boat.

Arriving at the lighthouse, U/J and M/G on the same boat.
U: Come on! Hit the door!
G: Stay with me!
U/J, CLUE: Search for the gnome.
Phil: They're Travelocity roaming gnomes. The team that carries the gnome all the way to the pitstop wins a prize on this leg.
Gretchen: Look! Lots of clues still here!

U/J and M/G get their gnomes and head by taxi to the next location, as Rob/Amber enjoy Istanbul by train.
Amber: No smog!
Rob: I feel like I'm at home.
Ron: We're behind Rob/Amber, but I feel like the other teams are behind us.

U/J, DETOUR: Columns or Kilos?
Phil: Columns, make your way two miles to a well held up by 200+ columns. Find four specific columns, pull a box from the well, and figure out the combination to open the box, from clues.
Kilos: Weighing people, until you reach a total weight of 2500kg.

Joyce: Kilos! Sounds easier.

In cab, stuck in traffic, M/G decide to name their gnome Jerome.
