Something did happen....they were TOLD that they were the first ever oldest team to make this far. I would think this would count for something. Everyone else was told that the race wasn't over and here is your other clue. I think the question can be taken in many different ways than just have something taken from them. Besides I think by telling them that no other older couple has made it as far as them has given them hope. Of course yall know what I picked...........4000 points is at stake here. And this is what I believe.

Actualoly the comment to M/G was at the pit stop not at the Mat.  My understanding of the quesiton was the mat was at the beginning of the show.  So I agree with Tina the answer should be nothing....

I'm not playing this one, but how do you get over 6700 pts in a round?!  that must have been some bonus question...

Other than the clue, what will happen to the team that comes to the "Phil Mat" last (at the first part of the show)?

Phil told them they were the oldest couple at the pit stop at the end of the show!

And, rmax, if you are only one of a few people to answer a question, you get a huge bonus. All points assigned to the question is divided by the number of people who answered that. So, if you are the only one to answer a question and it is right, you get a huge point bonus!
