Just speculation but maybe the NY spoiler is totally fake and the finish line is in Miami since a spoiler was done of a couple wearing blue running off a flight in Miami. A NY finish line one week before Christmas was always suspect.

Yes that does look like the camerman that was hurt. It was my first thought.

I jsut read this somewhere too, about Miami being the finish line. Anwyays, I always doubted the NYC one because I'd expect NYC to be busy around Christmas and I don't think the Amazing Race can get away with having the Finish Line in New York anymore because they can easily be recognized (back then it wasn't much of a big deal and they actually got away with saying that they're filming a travel documentary)

"I can certainly confirm that this is the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (I know it inside and out). I recognize the tile mosaic wall that can be seen in the extreme left of the pic, almost perpendicular to the position where this pic was taken.
Anyhoo, I see they are about to enter terminal D, which is the biggest American Airlines wing of the airport. San Juan is a big AA hub for the Caribbean flights. American Eagle is the dominent intra-Caribben carrier and for the most part uses San Juan as its hub, so most American Eagle flights do not go directly to its neighboring islands, but go through San Juan.
I am hoping that this was not just a transit point but that they actually completed a task there. I assure you there's plenty to do around. There is always a possibility that they were just on their way to Jamaica, though."

Found the Miami spoiler just to refresh anyone memory if needed. The blue outfits seem to indicate R/K or perhaps M/G.
"Here is some potential TAR 7 info. I got this email from a friend of mine today. He gave me this info based on an email that he received from friend.
On a flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami Florida on December 18, 2004. Onboard in coach: a couple dressed in nearly identical light blue outfits with backpacks, videographer (broadcast quality Beta cam), soundman with baffled fishpole mike and separate audio tape machine. In the forward cabin, about a half-dozen production staff types. Upon arrival the couple dashed down the aisle, through the jetway and toward the terminal building, shooting all the time. (The cameraman collided with an oncoming catering cart as they rounded a blind corner)
This was the only couple being filmed on this flight, but that makes some sense since, per the published shooting schedule, they would have possibly been down to the final three at that point."
