I love Rob and Amber!!!! Appreciation Thread !!
Rob:
Rob & Amber do have a problem, they are retarted! LOL
I agree with texan, I think its a misdirection. I can't see Amber or Rob quitting at much of anything!

Loved Josh Wolk's article, puddin! thanks for posting it! {^[
To answer Wolk's questions Are Rob and Amber going to win the race in a walk? Who is most likely to give them a run for the money?...Nope...NOT a walk. Rob has been working his strategies from Day 1 & will continue unless they run into some verrrrry bad luck beyond Rob's control.
I think Susan/Patrick, Ray/Deana & U/J will give them a good run for their money...esp S/P!
Patrick seems to be the most paranoid about Romber & scheming to outwit them.
Ray/Kelly are too occupied w/ their relationship issues to be thinking much about anti-rob strategies! ]][

Love them or not, but you have to give Rob credit for knowing how to play the game. He and Amber have brought a new look to TAR and he is applying the rules of Survivor: Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast to The Amazing Race. Even Phil has been struck dumbfounded with what they have been able to do so far in just three eps. Give Rob credit for knowing the rules and knowing how to work them to your advantage. He knew exactly what he had to do at the Detour: quit while other teams were still out and nearly at the detour site so he would not have long to wait before his penalty clock started. And he was smart enough to know that if he could get just one more team to quit after their penulty clock started, they would be guaranteed not to come in last since the other team's penalty clock would not start until the next team arrived. I think he also nows realizes one of the tricks of the trade is not to worry about coming in first in each leg, but just concentrate on not coming in last: always keep one team behind you. There is at least one bunchup point iin each leg of the race and he saw how his three hour lead over the last place team disappeared at the bunching up at the car park waiting for it to open at 5AM with all nine teams there together waiting. He and Amber may not win, but I think they will go far and will give an added boost to the ratings each week as people tune in to see if and when Romber fails (just as the ratings for Jeopardy grew and grew and grew as Ken went on to win and win and win!)
Texan:
good post....Rob is playing the game and well
