Freddy, below: Kendra's dreadfully afraid of heights!
Kris/Jon's cab gets them to the YIELD.
Adam/Rebecca have to look on as they read the clue and get back in the cab and head toward Huaneng Tower.
Echoing many viewers, Adam: That's the first time I've seen ANY emotion from Jon!
Aaron does the building descend.
Kendra does a squeegee on the window to reveal "Tai Chi."
Adam/Rebecca notice that Aaron rappelled down.
Aaron, CLUE: Find the Monument To The People's Heroes on The Bund.
Phil: They'll have to search to find one of four Tai Chi masters for the next clue.
Rebecca: I understand. We yielded them. They yielded us.
Kendra, having received her clue, is scared sh*tless descending in the window washer chair.
puddin:
Adam/Rebecca squabble at the YIELD.
Kris gets the Tai Chi clue and descends in the chair.
Adam/Rebecca don't notice the hourglass is empty!
Finally Rebecca notices, and decides to do the window wash.
Rebecca arrives atop the building as Kris descends to meet Jon with her clue.
Freddy/Kendra and Aaron/Hayden seem to have no problem finding the Monument in cabs.
Kris/Jon have more taxi trouble and seem lost.
Rebecca gets some fear of heights and bounces off the building as the wind blows her chair (she hits rather lightly, although it must have been disconcerting!)
COMMERCIAL.
puddin:
Adam: I don't think she can do it.
Rebecca is still stuck trying to descend in the chair.
Kendra, in cab, bragging: We yielded them! Payback!
Jon, in cab, grinning: They should have yielded US.
Kendra: Should we have yielded Jon and Kris?
Aaron/Hayden reach the Masters at the Monument.
Everybody doing Tai Chi in unison. A sea of Tai Chi.
Rebecca finally descends. They get the clue and go.
Hayden: You have the clue?
Man nods.
Hayden/Aaron, CLUE: Make your way with the map to Jian Pu Road.
Phil: At the end of the road teams will find the next clue.
Kendra: You have the clue? (No reaction.)
Kendra: Sir, do YOU have the clue?
Man gives her the clue.
Freddy hugs the dude.
Kris/Jon are lost in a garden thingy, looking for Tai Chi people that aren't there.
Kris: Um, I don't think we're in the right place.
Adam/Rebecca ask their taxi driver to hurry.
Jon finds some Tai Chi peeps across the street.
Kris: Are you the master? Do you have a clue?
Jon: Do you have a clue?
Man gives Kris a clue.
They're off, back in the taxi.
Freddy, in cab: Bicycles are passing us! I hope we get there in a timely fashion!
Hayden/Aaron, CLUE: DETOUR.
Phil: Choice of two tasks.
Bricks, or Ice.
Bricks. Use a traditional (bar) to carry 300# of bricks, stack on a wooden pallet. It'll take a lot of strength, but you can finish as fast as your muscles will allow.
Ice. Load 2 x 220# blocks of ice, take them to a business at a market, break them into small pieces, and load them. It could take a long time.
puddin:
Rebecca finds a master, gets a clue.
R: He looks like my Yoga teacher!
Hayden: We should do bricks. I'm strong.
They begin to stack bricks for carrying.
Freddy/Kendra reach the DETOUR.
Kris/Jon's cab has taken them to somewhere .. no clue as to where.
H/A start get their bricks lined up to carry.
Hayden: Aaron! You're so much taller than me!
Jon, to cabbie: Where are you taking us?
Man gives them a blank look.
Rebecca:Maybe somebody's cab will get lost?
Hayden, struggling: I can move about a mile a frickin hour!!
Driver: Okay! Okay!
Jon: You took us like 10 blocks in the wrong direction! It's not okay, okay!
Freddy gives advice to Aaron/Hayden on carrying bricks.
Hayden: Aaron, help me! My balance is terrible! Jeez! This is fricking Heavy!!
In the cab from hell ...
Somewhere in greater Shanghai ...
Jon, angrily: Where were you taking us?!?
Man: Fast! Fast!
Jon: You were taking us in the wrong direction!
Cabbie speeds up.
Kris: I can't believe this.
