Someone on another board commented that A/R didn't look like they were running that hard, indicating that they weren't racing to beat someone to that mat.  If that's the case it  means one of  two things:

1. They are far enough ahead of F/K not to have to rush to the winner's mat.
2. They already see F/K at the mat, so there's no need to rush to the winner's mat.

I hope for #1 to be true.

Yeah, if they saw F*K there, would they be running at all, or just jogging or walking (like Brandon & Nicole). Even Colin & Christie weren't  really running when they came to the pitstop.

They are definitively running, so either they don't know their position, or they know they're not third (the second team gets a substantial prize, so there is still an incentive to run).

One thing also, we don't know how long they've been running. If you've been going at it for a mile, well your not going to be running  very fast. By the way, Freddie and Kendra are pretty poor runner from what I saw in Ethiopia.

I think that if it comes to a long run, A&R have a large advantage over F&K and a slight advantage over Kris & Jon.

A fog bank brought good fortune for Chip & Kim, who snagged....

Question:  If Adam and Rebecca are running to the final pit stop at the Buckingham Fountain in Chicago would Rebecca still have that Route Information envelope in her hand?  I think this is after they have finished the Outrigger detour and have just got the clue that tells them to get their butts to the airport and catch a plane to Chicago.
