Adam and Rebecca lament the fact that they're on the train an hour and something behind the rest.


Freddy/Kendra observe that they'll never again in their lives get to ride an elephant.
Lori climbs the tree.
Hayden chooses to climb the tree.
H conf: I'm terrified of heights! It's a phobia!
Bolo: Get the jug and hook it to your waist belt! Take your time!! Let's go, girl! Come on back!!

Aaron: You're doing great.
Hayden slips. AARGH!

Freddy and Kendra hit the polo balls atop their elephants.

Hayden falls into a weird position on the walkway.
H: Aaron! I'm stuck!!
Lori: It's hard!
Bolo: Walk across! However you can do it!
Lori conf: My arms were killing me. It's difficult!

Kris finishes the tree.

CLUE, Kris: Travel to the city of Kandy.
Phil: Give the monk this (??) in exchange for the next clue.

Hayden, conf, is "paralyzed" with fear "that the rope is going to break."

Adam /Becca last to do the detour  (^.#

puddin:
Hayden, screaming: AAAARRRRRONNNN!!!! I'm so scared! I hate this!
Aaron: You're doing fine, baby! Just watch your footing.

Bolo climbs the tree.
Aaron: Hayden, don't freak out!
Lori: Good job, baby! Hook it to your belt!
Finally Hayden makes it back down.
H, conf: One way to get over your fears is .. by doing them.

 

Freddy/Kendra still slowly doing the elephant/polo thingy.

Rebecca, on train: I don't want to go home. If that means sucking it up and "being" his girlfriend, I'll do it.
They get off the train.
Adam: Hopefully we'll have some luck?

Bolo screwing up on the highwire.
Aaron is "kicking butt."
But Bolo still makes it down in 2nd.
Hayden/Aaron finish in 3rd.

Freddy/Kendra still lumbering around the polo grounds with the elephants.
Freddy: You're the master of pachyderms!

Adam/Rebecca choose the trees.
Freddy/Kendra finish polo.

At the Galle Bus Station to Kandy ...
Three (four?) teams together.
Kris conf: You work your butt off to get ahead then have to start back from ground zero.
Hayden conf: We have nice buses in the USA. It's really a reality check.
It was THREE teams on the bus, since Kendra/Freddy are waiting for the next one.
Adam and Rebecca slowly do the trees.
Rebecca acts like she's encouraging Adam. It's working! He makes quick work of the tree.

Bus station ...
Freddy/Kendra on board.


Bus #1 unloads the lead three teams.
Hours of Operation: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Teams will have to sleep overnight!! 

Adam/Rebecca arrive late at night only to find ... an equalizer!
Rebecca conf: We're still in it! Tomorrow's a new day!!

Kandy Art Association
Phil: Teams must purchase/carry a bowl of rice across to the monk in the temple.

puddin:
Lori/Bolo, 1st: Travel by bus, to Dambulla.
Phil: Once there, they'll make their way by tuk tuk and climb this granite peak called Lion Rock for the next clue.

Freddy/Kendra 2nd.
Adam/Rebecca 3rd.
Hayden/Aaron 4th.
Kris/Jon 5th.


Jon conf: We are both religious, so we really respect the blessing from the monk, but we're both trying to get to the next clue!!

Teams change positions again, and again, in the tuktuks on the way to Lion Rock. All five teams are close.

Hayden to Aaron: It's gettin down to the nitty gritty right now!!

Adam/Rebecca's tuktuk pulls over for gas.
Adam: What are you doing!?!? It's a RAAAAACE! Come on!!
