A whopping 3.42m viewers watched the Panthers triumph at the NRL Grand Final last night -the fourth biggest audience all year.

There were 917,000 watching in Sydney, 567,000 in Brissy and 529,000 in Melbourne. Nine also claimed the highest ever BVOD Audience for a NRL Grand Final at 762,000.

Nine drew a huge primetime share of nearly 50% -more than double its nearest rival and setting it up nicely for the week.

Against those sort of numbers it was tough going elsewhere.

The Voice drew 675,000 then Return to Paradise (551,000) and The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (457,000).

Nine News led at 6pm with 1.22m.

Seven News was 1.19m for Seven. 7News Spotlight was 381,000 then Crime Investigation Aust: Most Infamous (208,000)

ABC News was down at 684,000. Unforgotten (292,000), Compass (239,000) and Better (121,000) followed.

10 News First drew 226,000 for 10 then The Sunday Project (189,000), FBI: International (148,000) NCIS (89,000)

On SBS it was Last Secrets of the Great Sphinx of Giza (160,000), Tombs of the Egyptian Priestesses (132,000) Megastructures: Knight’s Templar Castles (122,000) and SBS World News (TBA).

The Block had its Room Reveal episode on Monday night due to the NRL Grand Final on Sunday, drawing a cool 1.24m viewers in National TV Audience. That was even higher than Nine News.

Trailing it was MKR on 836,000 then 7:30 (737,000), Australian Story (564,000) and The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (527,000).

Later Have You Been Paying Attention? grew to 695,000 for 10 then Four Corners (612,000), Media Watch (564,000), Bali 2002 (473,000) and The Rookie (365,000).

Seven News was #1 at 1.35m. Home & Away was strong at 892,000 then The Chase (615,000). SWAT slapped down 188,000.

Nine News was 1.2m then A Current Affair (1.11m) and Tipping Point winning at 694,000. Nine News Late scored 236,000.

ABC News drew 842,000. Hard Quiz (381,000), Antiques Roadshow (203,000), In the Room (188,000) followed.

10 News First was 313,000 then The Project low at 288,000 plus Deal or No Deal (261,000). A replay of Taskmaster Australia managed 252,000.

It was a tough night for SBS with SBS World News (156,000 / 121,000), The Big Fat Quiz of Telly (103,000), Mastermind (73,000), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (64,000) and Have I Got News for You? (47,000).

The Bathurst 1000 drew a big audience for Seven on Sunday averaging 1.22m in National TV Audience and helped push up Seven News.

The Block topped entertainment at 1.32m viewers upstaging The Voice on 984,000. Next were Return to Paradise (697,000 at 7:30pm) and The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (559,000).

Later 60 Minutes was 751,000 then 7News Spotlight (445,000), Gogglebox (390,000 in select markets) and Unforgotten (343,000).

Seven inched across the finish line for a win in Sunday share by 0.1%.

Seven News was #1 at 1.49m for Seven. Crime Investigation Australia: Most Infamous managed 229,000.

Nine News drew 1.32m with a late edition at 321,000.

ABC News pulled 842,000 for ABC. Grand Designs Australia replayed to 232,000 with Better at 139,000.

10 News First was 260,000 for 10. The Sunday Project (238,000), FBI: International (140,000) and NCIS (91,000) followed.

On SBS World News it was 178,000 / 153,000 then The Temple of Hatshepsut (129,000) and The Lost City of Ramses (119,000).
