Looks like a fishing RI task. We know the sausage vs cars is the detour. Jon has some eggs in the first pic, so that might be the RB? We are also missing the 'get to know your teammate' task.

I know the episode say people signed up for one of two flights to Smithers. But some interviews were filmed in front of a gate where AC7674 was about to depart for Smithers.
I would guess that all teams were on the same commercial flight and then they just released them in two groups from the Smithers airport.

It was a charter flight. There are no commercial flights from Calgary to Smithers. Still, yes. One plane, two release times.
