From what I read this week of Drag Race fans, Jermaine is fine but Justin apparently had a history of behaviour like this on that show. The week he was eliminated, he pretty much mentally checked out of the game and gave a terrible lip sync performance.

YES! tbh I was very surprised to see them cast... Jermaine, from what I see everywhere, is an amazing person but Justin does have an history of having beef with lots of people, esp. french Canadians. He has said some pretty nasty things about people from Quebec.
 
I know two other drag queen from Drag Race Canada joked about applying... (Kimmy Couture and Miss Fierclicious) maybe they didn't apply and production really liked the idea? I read they applied with 10 minutes left, and we let's remember that production extended the casting date by 3 days? Coincidence?
