Why would we need a double elimination or a final 4?
Leg 1 (Thailand): 13th place
Leg 2 (Thailand): 12th place
Leg 3 (Vietnam): Keep-on-Racing/Non-Elimination
Leg 4 (Vietnam): 11th place
Leg 5 (India): 10th place
Leg 6 (India): 9th place
Leg 7 (Germany): 8th place
Leg 8 (Slovenia): 7th place | Today
------------------------------------------
Leg 9 (Assumed to be Slovenia): 6th place
Leg 10 (Unknown): 5th place
Leg 11 (Unknown): 4th place
Leg 12 (United States): 3rd place, 2nd place, and 1st place

How much head notice do you think we can expect to know where they are coming in the U.S. for the final leg? Like are the teams typically sighted getting on transport to whatever city they will end in?

Depends on the season; as with all sightings there's an element of luck in who spots the groups of two and makes the mental connection to The Amazing Race though it tends to be easier on seasons with recognizable people (25, 28 and 31 all had sightings in airports or flights during the final leg).
Coming in from Europe there's a decent number of nonstop flights into the US (in particular LHR, CDG and FRA if they double back), though that may not necessarily indicate where they came from or where they're going. Prior to a few days ago I was thinking was a concerted effort to avoid countries visited in charter flight era TAR but that's out the window now lol.

I believe we should anticipate a finish line, but the question remains: where will it be? Based on this pattern, my prediction is either the eastern or southern coast.

I feels very unclear if there's a 2nd Slovenia leg when it could be. Thailand's 2 legs filmed back-to-back, Vietnam's filmed on the same day(spec) and India's had a day break in between legs.

More like the Pacific Northwest or the Upper Midwest when the weather is in season.
