I think that it's because the core audience of TAR is typically women, and they probably think that women want to see more men on the race than other women.

The thing is, though, that if they'd actually listen to the fans (men and women alike), they'd know that there've been clamors for more women's teams to be cast, particularly from many, many female fans.  But they won't listen.  They almost never do.

Once this one has finished I would love to have a serious discussion as to how we can both improve and also finetune some sites here to help everyone have an even better enjoyable time.
