TAR 35 (formerly called 36): Bitch, Moan & Squeal Here! *POSSIBLE SPOILERS!*

kyleisalive:
Fingers crossed the next destination is France and the final leg is L.A.

I'm excited for the route as is, but at this point, if people are going to be this negative about it, production should go the full distance and try to tank it in those peoples' eyes.

TAR (US) hasn't filmed in Asia in five years, but all of these destinations are too boring.  Womp womp.

OMGitsGARRET:
I'm very happy to see TARUS back in Asia for the first time in 5 years. Especially Vietnam and India which I believe to both be top tier countries in this franchise. So many iconic moments and tasks have happened in those countries.

But at the same time I don't think it's too unreasonable that some people are a bit disappointed at everything being double leg countries so far. Spending half the season in 3 countries gets TAR24 a lot of negative feedback so I can understand if the same happens here. I understand circumstances are different, the budget may not be as big, and COVID is still out there. So for those reasons I am happy they're even in Asia and doing a worldwide non-charter season to begin with. I just hope the backhalf of the season isn't filled with only double leg countries too.

Legs 1 and 2: Thailand
Legs 3 and 4: Vietnam
Legs 5 and 6: India

Especially since it's looking like legs 5 and 6 were only in Jaipur. If 1 and 2 were only in Bangkok and 3 and 4 were only in Can Tho that might be a little disappointing to be halfway through the season and only get 3 different countries let alone 3 different cities.

I'm still grateful we even have the race in the first place, but even seasons 34 and 35 had visited more countries by this point.

Grateful that we have the Race and its back to "normal" filming but the route looks boring. The usual countries in Asia are visited.
Not fond of the x2 visits on the same country back to back to back, even more so on the same city. When you compare it to the recently concluded filming of Hamerotz LaMillion (a superior route).
Not impressed so far with how we are. They could have gone South Korea - Laos - Nepal (x2) - Kyrgyzstan - Oman for the 1st half.

Well Tar USA has 37 to film  in 2 months but hamerotz doesn't. Truth is tar Israel got a bigger budget than USA imo . And USA got the same budget, but for two races In my opinion

cole1024:
It is a little sad that we are 6 legs in and have only been to 3 countries. I just hope the tasks/overall leg design are decent and the boot order is good (praying that the 3 FF teams are still in!)

So after the second leg in India we are probably looking at 8 teams remaining, which sets up every leg from now on to be an elimination leg:

Leg 1 in Bangkok: 13th place eliminated
Leg 2 in Bangkok: 12th place eliminated
Leg 3 in Can Tho: KOR leg with no elimination
Leg 4 in Vietnam: 11th place eliminated
Leg 5 in Amer: 10th place eliminated
Leg 6 in Jaipur: 9th place eliminated
