Welp its been a fun race to the blondes. Double yield along with the taxi driver drove them away.
Overall, honestly a great mega leg. The first part was definitely the best part, but loved all the tasks there. the contrast between the first part and the second is nice well done too. I just put aside the alliance there so it won't ruin the watching experience

I agree. One of the best India legs I've seen since season 7, ironically also a technical mega-leg (double-length). The contrast between the new-age tech side and the traditionalist culture of Hyderabad was really interesting to see unfold. LOVED the Swiggy / binary Detour option. Also really liked the bangles and dentures Detour even though the dentures task does seem out of place compared to the one I saw in TAR14.
mswood:
Yeah, team death by taxi. It didn't look like the Yields were the deciding factor, but boy lets just rub it in.
Xoruz:
So when comparing the mega leg to the double-length legs from 6-10, those five seasons all had some rest point with a hours of operation or teams having to travel to another location. This one was more like 14's with the exception of a mid-leg Phil appearance in that the leg was run straight through without interruption.
The problem with running without a break is that it's then hard to catch up. Even without the double Yield, placements didn't shift as much in the second half.
Kaylynn & Haley had a pretty historic lucky run, so it only make sense that they would make history on the way out.
Bookworm:
I know dentistry isnt exclusive to India obviously but finding a random open-air dentist's office brings the randomness I love to see in TAR. I said it before, but I'll echo others saying that the first part of the Leg was absolutely fantastic- independently the best leg of the season. Second half wasn't as great, but that could easily be the fault of way too much alliance content. I was hoping Riley & Maddison would Yield Gary & Deangelo but instead we got 15 minutes of snide comments and gossipy answer sharing. I feel bad for the producers tbh that a high school mentality has brought down what would otherwise be an incredible season- South America and Asia thus far have been very well designed (besides Colombia).
