I'm guessing they adjusted it last-minute to be better suited and specified for the three-course meal Detour or relieve the vendors from selling them that large quantity of root. Cassava can be sold pre-cut or within the bark (com casca) and having teams potentially bring 3 kg of cassava each is pretty wasteful.
