Hung & Chee and Eswar & Aparna arrive at the mine 1st and 2nd! They locate a dog and Hung proceeds to pet it. La Mina Mine signup board must be done AFTER picking up an hourglass.
Other teams begin arriving.

Gary & DeAngelo find a 10-minute hourglass, but leave it to pick a 20-minute one as well as Will & James and the volleyballers.
Hung & Chee, Will & James, Riley & Madisson, DeAngelo & Gary, and Eswar & Aparna (10 minute hourglass) sign up on the first departure time. Everyone else on the second time.

Kaylynn & Hayley and Michelle & Victoria find a 20-minute hourglass. All teams are packed like sardines for a night inside the mine. :lol: What an experience!
1st Group departs: Teams must travel on foot to Templo Parraquil San Francisco de Asis and search for a piece of emerald or gold artifact. Then, travel through traffic. Emerald pickers must travel to Plazoleta del Rosario. The gold diggers must deliver it to an archaeologist.
Riley: "Basically we have to find our dad." :lol:

2nd group finds their rafts and emeralds and go into the in-theory freeway traffic.
Universidad del Rosario is the correct delivery site for the gold raft. My mistake.

Good stuff on the picking hourglass choice, it gives teams thinking to choose between 10 or risking themselves to dig deeper for 20 risking their sign up lines
