But anyways congrats Bookworm and thank you judges for all your hard work and comments!

From my notepad while doing calculations:

Tasks: 6/10
Locations: 8/10
Originality: 5/10
Details: 8/10
Telegenic Effect: 5/10

Total: 32/50

Comment: It’s a passable leg, but the more I reflect on it, the more I’m not as sure about it working as an episode. I dislike fishing tasks, and for some reason, the planting kind of looked like TAR19 and we've seen something slightly similar to the stone wall on TAR12 Croatia (but harder). My favorite task was the dance, and that's meant to be the quick and easy starter of the leg. The tasks just don't really pop to me as much as I want it to, and that is a matter of purely personal preference. Good job on the social impact though.

DAY #22:
SITE: THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA, GIZA, EGYPT
TIME: 12.00 PM

Phil Keoghan: Good day, designers! Welcome to the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. This majestic tomb was built around 2560 BC and is now the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, "Memphis and its Necropolis - the Pyramid Fields from Giza to Dahshur." That's why this is the perfect site for the start of Round 3 of The Amazing Race: Design Challenge VIII.

ROUND 3:
AFRICAN HERITAGE

Phil Keoghan: Africa has a diverse culture and long history; hence it has a lot of cultural and natural heritage. The UNESCO has designated 144 World Heritage Sites in the continent of Africa. For this round, you all will be designing legs that feature those World Heritage Sites.

Now on some more rules for this round:
* You can depart from anywhere in the world.
* You must design in one of the countries in Africa and feature one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites as listed HERE in your leg.
*Note that there are four European countries listed there (Spain, Portugal, France, and United Kingdom). However, since the state party is not located in Africa, you're not allowed to design the leg there.
* You must include a Roadblock and a Detour.
* You must include a Fast Forward in this leg.
* You must do at least one task in the World Heritage Site that you pick. It can be incorporated in the Roadblock, one or both sides of the Detour, or even in the Fast Forward.
* You must NOT design in a country that you have designed in on the previous rounds.

You will all have SEVEN days from the time this is posted to submit your design. You have to submit your design by sending a PM to the three judges, Kamineko, Pi/, and gamerfan09. You are only allowed to submit once, so pay attention to the details first before submitting it.

Another thing to mention, the winner for this round will receive an advantage in Round 4. I won't tell you what the advantage is until the beginning of the next round, but I can promise you that this advantage will have a big impact for the next round.

Unfortunately, only the top 12 designers will proceed to the next round. That means, THREE of you with the lowest average scores will be eliminated from the game.

Phil Keoghan: Before I'll give you a go, let me introduce you the guest judge for this round.

He's really well known in the forum as a huge The Amazing Race and Survivor fan. He has participated twice in the Design Challenge, finishing 2nd in Season 2 and 4th in Season 4, winning four rounds in the process, and has previously served on the judging panel in Seasons 3, 5, and 6.

Without further ado, please welcome...

:cheer: Glamazon Racer! :cheer:

I am sure that Racer is the perfect judge for this round. So, all of you have one more person to impress with your design.

Okay, now that we're settled. Let's begin the Round 3 of The Amazing Race: Design Challenge VIII!

Best of luck everyone!
