DAY #68:
SITE: COMANDANTE FERRAZ ANTARCTIC STATION, ANTARCTICA
TIME: 7:00 AM

Phil Keoghan: Good morning, designers, and welcome to the Antarctica!

First, I want to congratulate all of you for making into the Top 6 of The Amazing Race: Design Challenge VIII. All of you have reached this far because you never give up and you always try to deliver your best. Bringing all of you all the way here to the Antarctica shows that the hosts and judges are always ready to push the boundary, and we hope that all of you will do the same in your legs for this round and the final round.

As you all know, this is the penultimate round. Those who make it safe in this round are going to be the finalists of The Amazing Race: Design Challenge VIII.

Without further ado, let me announce what is the theme of this round.

ROUND 6:
THE BEGINNING OF THE END

Phil Keoghan: In this round, you will be making TWO separate legs. These legs must be your best and you must show us that you are worthy to be the finalists of this season of Design Challenge.

Your first leg requirement will be the premiere leg *smiles at Mike*. And to make it more interesting and varying, we are not limiting you to start in the United States, just like the most recent season of The Amazing Race Australia that started on South Korea. Also, we would like you to make your leg to fit a 2-hour premiere.

In summary, here are the rules for the first part of this round:
* You must design a premiere leg.
* You can start from anywhere in the world.
* You must include a Starting Line Task, preferably related with the first destination country.
* The first destination country can be anywhere in the world. However, you cannot design in a country that you have designed in on the previous rounds, as well as in the country you design in on the second part of this round.
* You tasks combination must fit this first leg for a 2-hour premiere.

Moving on to the second leg requirement of this round. For the second leg, you must deliver the best leg that you can show us. However, the country where you will be designing in is the power is in the judges' hands. After this round officially begin, I would like you to pick one of these 6 cards with a letter on each, which will determine the judge who will assign you to a country that you will be designing in. After you get the assigned country, the rest is up to you. You can design whatever you think is the best leg you can design and show that to all of us.

In summary, here are the rules for the second part of this round:
* You can start anywhere in the world.
* You must design in a country assigned by one of the three judges; no switching or trading between designers of course.
* You are allowed to do any combination of tasks and include race elements if needed.
* Create the best leg you can design and prove that you are worthy to be the finalist.

You will all have FIFTEEN days from the time this is posted to submit your design. However, the judges would like to see one of either legs to be submitted within the first EIGHT days. It's up to you to choose which one of those legs you would like to submit first.

You have to submit your design by sending a PM to the three judges, Kamineko, Pi/, and gamerfan09. You are only allowed to submit once, so really pay attention to the details and proofread your writing first before submitting the leg to us.

The designers who are saved in this round will advance to the Final Round and become the finalists of The Amazing Race: Design Challenge VIII.

Phil Keoghan: Before you begin designing, let me introduce to you the guest judge for this round!

He is another veteran user in the RFF and a travel enthusiast. He had hosted several games, including the famous The Amazing Race Prediction & Pick'Em Games. After some times, he's finally back here and is currently hosting the Survivor All-Stars: Double Chances fantasy game. Please give a warm welcome to...

:cheer: Jobby! :cheer:

He will help form the four-person judging panel for this round, alongside Kamineko, gamerfan09, and Pi/, to determine the finalists.

Let's get ready to begin Round 6 of The Amazing Race: Design Challenge VIII!

Best of luck Final 6!
