I think once you got past the weird start it was pretty decent for a 1 hour premiere. Especially considering the fact we had both a RB + Detour + ARI (though that may be offset by the non-AU start).
The teams have room to grow, but at least we had some drama between the sisters/footy blokes and nuns/instagramers. My biggest worry this season will be the production side of things, I think the cast can bring it.

But also you're right, Niko/Alana were such a waste of a spot. Actually just straight up hopeless. Other than Eric/Lisa and Lisa/Nicole have we ever had a team not even complete a single challenge on a season?
Also Beau is kinda obnoxious as a host, I think he'll take at least another season to sharpen up. Twitter seems to agree with me.

Definitely agree, it had a little bit of a slower pace - hope the intensity picks up throughout the season!
Beau is certainly over the top but I actually don't mind it - gives us some personality unlike the boring Grant Bowler. But is he going to hug every team at every pit stop???! :funny: :ghug:
