MM maybe...but looks like some large earrings?

I don't want to assume anything, but the other team member has a rainbow symbol on his fanny pack!
Maybe they are related to the LGBT+ community (or maybe it's a aboriginal symbol and I'm wrong lol)

No assumptions but this could be the term to use:
WindsorSue:
Clues for Team 5 are:
Treaty 6 (Alberta & Saskatchewan)
Water is Life is associated with the Standing Rock, North Dakota and/or pipeline protests.
Rainbow Buffalo patch is associated with an incident in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Could they be from the Assiniboine Nation as they speak Nakota, a variant of Sioux? Was Standing Rock their "life-changing" moment???
Linda BC2:
****EDITED TO MAKE JET & DAVE TEAM #10***

3: FF athletic (tall brunette - burgundy jacket, short - white jacket, black packs)
4: MM red (older, younger 1/2 shaved & long hair. Red packs)
5: MM First Nations (white jacket/black shorts/red leggings, green packs) James Makokis & Anthony Johnson
6: MF interracial (blue jackets, F blonde, dark turquoise & grey packs)

8: FF African-Canadian (dark jackets, one has bright green scarf, blue & maroon packs)

10: Jet & Dave (Dave bright green hat/blue? jacket/grey pants, Jet burgundy shirt/black pants, black & grey packs).
I’m confused on team numbers. Are we adding Jet & Dave as team #1 or as team #10?
The first shot from the start line has the Indo-Canadian MF (short/tall) as #1.
The photo of the back packs has Jet & Dave as #1.
