Quick update:
Apparently Genios would be reduced to a single day segment that would air on Fridays - as is the day the show have had its better ratings -.
The speculation is that DFAD is returning only on Thursdays. And it's been told in different media that production has already made contact with former contestants with the intention of add new couples to the competition.

News update:
On his morning show Angel De Brito has confirmed that the show will air also on Thursdays. He also gave the names of the people who was asked to join the show (and still has to confirm their participation). And the number of couples that will enter the reality will be ten, not eight.
