TAR 32: Bitch, Moan, Squeal Here! (Filming and pre show Spoilers)
LandonM170:
As much as the alliance made the season worst, I really enjoyed this season (maybe it is because we haven't had a new season in a year and a half?). I would probably put it in the top 15-20 however we do have the finale so this will be the second leg of the season where the alliance won't be used.

I love Hung & Chee and hope they win. I loved Kaylynn & Haley's arc and really enjoyed them as a team. Would happily see both race again. Otherwise, there have been some definite issues in this season that I think need clearing up. Too many Yield/U-Turn's. And the alliance didn't work well and they should deter teams from doing that in future at challenges.

Think about it this way. The show comes up with all these tasks, has to worry about logistics and making sure everything's working well. We all know the effort, blood, sweat and tears that goes into putting the Race together. Then here comes a team that finds a shortcut, exploits a loophole or somehow doesn't perform the task completely on their own. Would you be willing to pay the winner of that Leg $10,000 when they didn't even do every single thing required of them as you laid out?
Yes, they're not breaking any rules. But if you value the Race as a competition, would you like to see this be the norm moving forward? The top contenders are the ones that game the system the best?
Again, it's partly on the task design, which Bertram and Co. will have to address moving forward. No question. But it's also on the Racers for trying to find a shortcut. Which, I believe, is different from figuring out the best way or right way to complete a task. I'm sure someone else can explain what I'm trying to say in a much better way. But I hope I got the basic point across.

I really would love to see Michelle & Victoria's reaction to them getting the news of the finale taking place in their home state. :funny:
