Just rewatched the episode, and despite U-Turn board before actual U-Turn not being ideal, at least it was not the first thing after arrival, there were a few tasks before it.

The sewing detour (Kebaya) looked like the faster option, however it required some technical skills of using the sewing machine properly, otherwise it was quite simple of what was being required. The Ular side of the detour, was more laborious and took more time, but without the technical hurdle, only overcoming the challenge of dealing with snakes and leeches.

I am still surprised by how much Adam and Courtney are struggling in this race. Before the race started, they looked like a team with the outset that would be excelling in the race, instead they're mostly at the back of the pack, and close to being eliminated. Anna and Todd being U-Turned actually saved Adam and Courtney, as they also reached the mat close to each other.

It was a dancing RB, and most of the guys outshone the ladies who performed it. Dylan and Phil were outstanding and Todd was good enough that even when they arrived last at RB, they left shortly after Adam and Courtney who were one of the first to arrive.

As the preview already confirmed, next leg is back in Canada, directly to Stratford. Wonder where we are missing a leg in the Timeline. We all assumed it would be between Jakarta and Stratford, due to time available between filming, but it doesn't seem like it will be such.

Gotta assume whoever is eliminated next, will be due to the Uturn board that was spotted for one of the upcoming legs.

Really loving Leanne & Mar and Nancy & Mellissa. Really strong F/F Teams. Sad about Todd & Anna.

Really liked this leg (except the U-Turn being before the detour) but would it have change something?
I think both teams would have still use the U-Turn, and both teams finished their part of the u-Turn before the U-turned team showed up. I think maybe the only thing it would have changes is if Nancy/Melissa and Zainab/Monica would have pick a different team (like one that was directly after them, but who knows)

Love the dancing task, and the confusion about the phrase, who is handy! Everybody expecting a hand-manual task.. smart of Production.

I really love: Leanne/Mar, Taylor/Courtney, Martina/Phil
Like: Nancy/Melissa (I like them but sometime they are a bit awkward because they don't know each other as much), Zainab/Monica
Ok: Dylan/Kwame and Courtney/Adam

Sad for Todd/Anna because they were a great team, but at least they won a leg and some money.
U-Turning is part of the game... they are just unlucky that it happened on the first leg they were struggling

Upcoming leg spoilers aren't supposed to be in this thread I think, even if it's an obvious twist. 


I agree with stunami that the 'who is handy? clue was good, the clues for the detour seemed more straightforward, though I suppose the leeches may not have been mentioned.

I loved the "Who is handy?" clue - they were all thinking handyman tasks not dancing.

I'm glad they didn't mention the leeches, how many would have changed over to the sewing task? As it was, the only two teams that did it had to because of the U-turn.
