All - Female Teams in TAR

(1/2) > >>

fossil-racer:
I've been rewatching a lot of Amazing Race recently (US) and I get so annoyed when the all-female teams don't perform well.

I decided to compile some data to see if the all-female teams for U.S. or international countries (Canada, Australia and Asia) actually perform better. (I'm not including Israel and Latin America because I never watched those races.)

I'll start international first.

Canada has 14 FF teams so far.
5 have made the top 5. Of those 5, 3 made the finals and, of those 3, 1 won.

Australia had 9 FF teams.
4 made the top 5. 2 have made the finals and none of them won.

Asia had 17 FF teams.
10 of them made the top 5.  6 made the finals and 2 of them won.

It seems like TAR Asia does have better FF teams compared to Canada and Australia!!! :cheer: Plus, TAR Asia took 5 seasons to produce 2 FF team winners. U.S. took 18. LOL

Fun Fact; Austrailia FF teams have finished 10th for all 3 seasons.

I'm going to do U.S. next and I'm going to compare data by every 10 seasons!

Maanca:
Asia casts the best, there's no doubt about it.

U.S. By Every 10 Seasons

Seasons 1 - 10
23 FF Teams Cast
Half of the seasons have 3 FF teams!!! I'm surprised.

5/23 made the top 5. 1 out of those 5 made the top 3. That team did not win.
It took 10 seasons for a FF team to place in the finals.
A lot of FF teams eliminated in 9th/10th.

Seasons 11 - 20 - Arguably the Best Era for FF teams
2 FF Winners.
2 Finals with 2 FF teams.

25 FF teams cast. 4 seasons with 3 FF and 1 with 4 FF.
8/25 made the top 5. 6 of those 8 made the top 3. 2 of those 6 won.

Season 21 - 30
23 FF teams cast. 4 seasons with 3 FF and 1 with 4 FF.
9/23 made the top 5. 4 of those 9 made the top 3. 1 of those teams won.

A lot of teams knocked out early in 11th.

Three of TARPH1's Final 5 were FF teams, including the winner of course  :-[

G.B.:
If you want to gather more data, we have a category for that!
