I am sooo proud of Nic and Vic finishing 4th behind the vets from TAR.  Disappointing, of course, but they can hold their heads high.  For those who bashed them throughout the race, they are wonderful and kind people. :2hearts:

Im indifferent to Nicole, but I really like Victor. He's great. And they're way better than Jody lol
I interact with Nicole quite often on social media and I can tell you that she is the sweetest girl.  :2hearts: You will never see her be negative about another person on social media. I am so proud of both her and Vic. Nic grew up in a small town of 800 people. This is an experience of a lifetime for her and Vic.

I just love them! I loved her on BB, was over the moon when she won! I hope they get the opportunity to do TAR again!  :2hearts:

Oh yeah. Phil's made that no secret in the past, he doesn't like returnees or crossovers much. Nor does Bertram and Elise.

But...have to follow the network's orders if they want their show to stay on the air.

They have to go with what sells... Having BB and survivor alumni on TAR will pick up a ton of new viewers!

Do I try to go to the airport so I can follow them from there? Or do I go around the city and try to find where set up is occurring for later- maybe at Hart plaza? DL17 gets in around 2. DL19 gets in around 4. If the teams did take the second (DL19) direct flight out (I am not sure why they would do the later one) but that would match up time wise very close to the 5-7 time slot speculated for Hart Plaza. It takes about 30 minutes (in no traffic) to get to DTW to Hart. On other hand, if teams take DL17 (earlier flight which is more likely) there is about 2 1/2-3 hours unaccounted for.

Event at Plaza likely not first task, depending on U.S. Customs clearance being in Heathrow or at destination.
Too bad IG user didn't get destination.

Something in between DTW and downtown would make sense like Greenfield Village or Ford in Dearborn if they were on DL17

There is also a huge volleyball tournament in town, walking distance from Hart Plaza, maybe that could play a role in a task?

Well, it depends what is easiest for you, what is security like at DTW? Are you allowed at gates? I will guess they will be doing things within reasonable distance of Hart Plaza, surely not more than 15-20 miles surrounding unless there is something unique to Detroit that caught the producers eye...

I didn’t read everything so sorry if it’s covered but that’s 100% Terminal 3, which is home to Delta, American & Virgin Atlantic.

:woohoo:   :-* I adore all the remaining teams..it will be hard that actually 2 teams will lose.. It's exciting to see y'all tracking the flights. Everything is exciting. One thing am sure of is that the finish line and winners will be known at the season finale, not today....so don't hold back when sharing everything in between coz the finish line will b secret.

Ground transportations including personal vehicles and taxis are only permitted at Level 4 of McNamara. Cars just line up and wait to pick people up there. There is no prescreen customs at London airport at this time I believe. There was not this Christmas when I went. I was thinking about rolling up just a few minutes until touch down and seeing if I can find the taxis. Detroit does not use taxis much so they can be spotted in the city unlike NYC. Dearborn could be an option after DTW but before Hart Plaza at 5. It semi-on the way to the city from DTW.

Dearborn is a very unique city. From wiki-
The city was the home of Henry Ford and is the world headquarters of the Ford Motor Company. It has a campus of the University of Michigan as well as Henry Ford College. Dearborn has The Henry Ford, the United States' largest indoor-outdoor museum complex and Metro Detroit's leading tourist attraction.

Also- it is home to the largest Muslim, Middle Eastern, and Arab Americans populations in the US. In some areas of the town, the store signs are written in Arabic instead of or in addition to English. With all these things said, I can see why stopping in Dearborn could work for TAR.

Would like to mention 2 things that have happened since TAR29, that I think is likely to be kept this season. Which was production basically fixing 2 issues regarding the final 3 arrival in the final city.
- The first one is having all final 3 fly together in the same flight into final city. This has been mostly active since TAR11. Which production would limit the flight options available to the racers to basically one option, by manipulating their release time as such, that this would work as an equalizer after all.
- The second one which I think was introduced in 29, is not only already assigning the last flight to the racers, but also upgrading all the final 3 to business class, and production holding everyone up to arrival exit door, which seems where they actually start racing. This address, the issue that even though the flight became an equalizer, racers who were able to get seated closer to the plane exit ended-up gaining advantage over those further back. This is attributed as being pivotal in the final result of certain seasons. Also, this could even allow teams to be flown into final city in the same flight as Phil, and still allow him some head-start, before teams actually start racing.

And I quoted MM1924 specifically. If racers and Phil are in the same flight, it's possible to they're all coming in on DL17. However if production decided to have them be flown apart, Phil and part of the production would be in the first flight, with racers coming in with the later one.

Detroit while a busy airport at sometimes is not a big taxi town. There is a taxi stand at the airport I believe so all teams getting ground transportation should be fairly easy, I can't imagine there being a wait or a line. The key is going to be if anyone forgets to hold their taxi through the leg, this will be a huge mistake as there are not many roaming taxis around town if any at all. Unless production decides to have them drive which I don't recall happening on a final leg.

Hope we haven't been bamboozzled! Detroit is awfully TAR quiet on all fronts. #TARdoubts

Phili or DC again for the fourth would have been beautiful choices for an almost 4th of July finish!

Can't wait for the day!!

Because of the speculation of KOR, I am now more hesitated towards Detroit as final destination.

Both of the direct flights from London to Detroit are scheduled to leave London in morning period. Why would they do a KOR to keep teams wander around airport for 10+ hours when they can do a 11-12 hours pit-stop? Just a bit not making sense to me.

It wasn't a KOR. That would not have had hours of team confessional filmings.

Maybe I'm missing something, but are we 100% sure that the finale will be in Detroit?

Yes according to posts around the Hart Plaza event I have seen

There's plenty of pictures on Instagram in the place tag for Philip A Hart Plaza of musicians and tagged with #amazingrace. Could it be one of those tasks where they have to identify a particular musician while they're all playing together? We've seen those before.

I hope not since that was Tyler & Korey's first task on 28.

4 tarps? Huh, maybe the KOR isn't entirely out of the question after all? And this could be an elimination task.

Im glad we had a long break between 29 and 30! They have stepped up their location selection!!! Some barely used/never used locations we have seen in the last few seasons are:

Iceland
Belgium
Czech Republic
Zimbabwe
Bahrain
Laos
Uganda
Croatia

In terms of cities we saw
Detroit
San Francisco

The future is looking bright!!
So true they are on the right track!
