As Peach said, maybe the clue was to go to a travel agent to pick up tickets for a morning flight.

Why have a KOR if the next flight isn’t until 10:35 in the morning?  They had plenty of time to have a 12 hour pit stop and make their flight even with the 3 hour security requirement for inter-continental flights. I am saying it doesn’t make sense to have a KOR unless no teams were eliminated. Someone mentioned having a KOR and still having an elimination

Exactly

Has anyone checked flights out of other airports? When I flew internationally to London I flew into Gatwick Airport.

The only scenario that makes sense is Phil was simply just handing out clues for the finale.

KOR seems impossible to me

Looks like earliest flights to Detroit out of Heathrow tomorrow morning is 10:35am BST (5:35 EST, 6:35 CST, 7:35 MST, 6:35 PST)
Arriving in Detroit about 13:49 CST (2:49 EST, 12:49 MST, 11:49 PST).

That's not leaving a whole lotta time to run a leg! LOL

I didn't see any flight out after the pitstop...

The US is on DST not standard time right now (except for places like Arizona, and a couple of other, but Michigan is. Time zone difference between BST (GMT+1) and CDT (GMT -5) is 6 hours. Perhaps like last season, it will be a mostly nighttime leg?

When I looked for flights out of London I didn’t specify an airport. The 10:35 am is the only flight out unless Detroit isn’t the destination. There’s a later flight out too at 12:30 pm

Detroit is pretty at night, but I would guess production would try to make it during the daytime - downtown, while much safer than it used to be, can still be a little dicey at night. During the daytime it's completely safe. (If they go to the suburbs, though, then maybe night tasks are possible.)

Another possible situation is that, the Detroit finale thing is not correct and they are heading to somewhere else that the flight leave late in London, if KOR is true

Didn’t someone say that they had a 0-hour pitstop from Tokyo to Hawaii on S20?

Like Vanessa and Ralph got eliminated, but the teams kind of left for the finale right after?

If that’s accurate, could we be seeing something similar?
In fact in that season, you could see teams departing for the final leg in the background, even as the 4th place team was being eliminated. The only difference here would be instead of a very short pit stop, it's a KOR without a pit stop.

There are not as many flights to the US leaving London at night because of the time change. The last flight leaving Heathrow to the US is a 8:10 flight to New York, which would land at around 10:30/11 PM EST (about 2 hours from now), which wouldn't make any sense race wise.

Well unless they're spending tonight in a East Coast airport somewhere and then flying again tomorrow morning ....

Or teams are connecting elsewhere to Detroit.Production will b looking at getting teams pre-cleared for US Customs, which can be done at Heathrow, or at another US city to avoid delays in the final destination city. As to safety at night, probably no different than last season. And production does have its own security.

Re #750 except Detroit is EDT.
Doesn't affect the point though, does it? And sunset in Detroit tomorrow is 9:04 PM EDT.

What if we have a 13 leg race?

Leg 12 is coming up soon.... Leg 11 (London) was non-elimination and Vicole are still in the race!

This is just all just JMO

Leg 13 is then held in Detroit, on 5 of July

Osaka in TAR20 was a 3-hour pitstop, not KOR

Replying to 758: I think a 13 leg race is extremely unlikely. The reason they cut down the legs is because of budget cuts and right now TAR's budget is smaller than ever.

Only four counties (the ones that border Wisconsin) in the western part of the upper peninsula are on central time.

Didn't the teams Season 30 have to return to pitstop next day to get film reel of opening the clue?  There was a lot of discussion about team finishing positions in Hong Kong.

Only a sliver of the part of Michigan that borders Wisconsin is Central Time, the rest of Michigan is Eastern Time.

Not as always, especially during these days where pit-start doesn't always have to be at pitstop location . Last season inbHong Kong was an extremely rare situation that we are able to catch the pitstart for final leg.

Response to 249 in Sightings... Nancy, I guess everyone thinks Leo and Jamal were possibly first because I don't think anyone aw them, at least not on the Matt. Tyler/Korey then Colin/Christie. That gal you linked to left before Nicole and Victor went to the PS so she didn't see it. So she said she definitely saw Phil giving the envelopes to the teams?

He said they go all over the world and solve riddles, and then mentioned her getting the riddle wrong. I don’t think he exactly understood the show. He had said he just transported them, and they knew they were last so I’m sure he was transporting them after the pit stop.

WRP does that. They don't use cabs then.

It seems fairly sure oi me that they were mentioning earlier tasks, knew they were in last place AT THIS POINT.

My bet is he took them to Camden Passage for the last task/Pitstop.

She did not mention to me about Phil handing out the clues. I know for sure she didn’t see the afghananimals. She wasn’t sure if they finished before Tyler/Korey or after them. This is a quote “and the mystery team might have been second or first because their stuff was already there when the girl/guy were finishing”. Why would a team leave their bags? I think she was confused with the bags of production thinking it was an eliminated teams bags. There is a IG story by briegobel showing the finish mat. You see bags sitting there. That has to be productions bags.

So do we think they’re KORing to Dover? Or on their way to the USA?
