TAR Canada 6: Speculation & Discussion of SPOILERS

<< < (81/120) > >>

stunami:
I also think that they use the 3 NEL for the early legs, because the theme is Hero after all, and if all the teams did go, then I guess we would want to see them longer.

Leg 1 and 2: Team #1 is out
Leg 3 - 4 - 5: 1 NEL and team #9 and 10# are eliminated
Leg 6: KOR
Leg 7: 7-6 Toronto
Leg 8: 6 to 5 Winnipeg
Leg 9: 5 to 4 International leg? (Europe or Mexico)
Leg 10: 4 to 3 (A leg in Quebec maybe? we always get one)
Finale: Usually in a big city. Maybe this time in PEI or Fredericton, first finale in the maritimes....

Few observation

Leg 1 (Live Facebook 1): Unless there was something I missed, did we ever get sighting of the teams in Squamish? The only thing I saw for leg 1 was the ferry ride from Vancouver Island to Vancouver....

Leg 2: Dawson City

Leg 3 (Live Facebook 2): Salt spring Island/Duncan. We have a lot of sightings. Peach has a more info comings.

Leg 4: (Live Facebook 3): We have one or two tweet + Facebook live, but nothing else...

Leg 5: Beside the taxi's in Yogyakarta, we have nothing for leg 5 right? It may not even be there as far as we know...

Leg 6/7 (Live Facebook 4): Stratford/Toronto: I saw two different social media people (who were invited by ctv) who wrote something that insinuate a KOR (One wrote still racing... and the other one said Keep on racing). I still feel it's weird to have both legs in the same day. I just don't understand why the PR people drove all the way to Stratford, if the next leg was going to be in the city they all live and work, Toronto. One reason could be that it's just one leg and they wanted to see the whole leg.

Also, like someone mentioned here, the KOR were always filmed on several days, even the Hamilton/Kingston one in season 4. It seems to be a lot...

But at the same time, there seems to be too many task for it to be only one leg..

Leg 8: Winnipeg. Would have made more sense for a finale.

We can't also rule out a twist... maybe something like a 'Superleg' because it's a hero's season with 'super teams'. A superleg could be like a really big leg with more task... I don't know I'm just talking here  :funny:

I think Stratford/Toronto is two legs. We have a roadblock (spec?) and detour confirmed for Toronto. We also have two tasks confirmed in Stratford, and would they do two RI's there before finishing in Toronto? I don't think that makes a lot of sense.

This reminds me of Hamilton/Kingston back in S4, which was also a tbc two legs. However, this time there is no HOO before the second leg.

Nonetheless, why turn back west when this leg could have been the first location after Indonesia?

Remember last year? They are crazy! :funny:

True, and they did it again this year with Yukon inbetween BC...

Why not Africa?

It could easily be Double RIs in Stratford + RB/Detour in Toronto for a single leg; furthermore, Hamilton and Kingston are much further apart.

It's a tad too early in the schedule to be Leg 8 already - the Peg is probably Leg 7.
