IMO, it would be strange to just do an intro. Maybe there's a RM or even a small task.

Figured as much. Fingers crossed for Australia or NZ! Southeast Asia's getting to be a pretty predictable pattern.

What if they knock out all the international Legs this season in the middle of the Race (like 4, presumably). They travel west towards Asia/Oceania then Europe, maybe Africa (not on this budget most likely) and then the last 4 Legs in Canada entering from the east?

Depending on how many flights there are to this international destination, we could easily not have teams even get to the airport until tomorrow.

Or late tonight. It all depends on the arrival time at destination.

Would the crew go a day ahead or on same flight?

Ahead, usually. Jon has to shoot his task introductions before teams get to them.

It could happen, but I don't really think they will do it.

It seems they are really copying season 5 (except for the starting line), with leg 1 and 3 in BC, and then international for two legs.

I'm really curious to see how the Elimination/non-elimination legs are going to pan out. I really hope they don't have the same thing as last year, aka 3 eliminations in a row.

Hoping to have for the Philippines and will have two legs there. It is a great location that has 7,107 islands. Vancouver has a direct flight to/from Manila.

Fingers crossed for Australia or NZ!

Sri Lanka or elsewhere in South Asia would be preferrable and more realistic.

I really do wonder if they are flying to Australia.

I mean, it's a long flight and we haven't had sightings for ages...

Some interest tweets by a reporter that was on a flight from Whitehorse to YVR on April 27. This would be when they were travelling from Dawson City to YVR before leg 3.
The most interesting one is about one of the contestants having a serious allergic reaction on the plane.
This is the flight from Whitehorse:

Update! One of the Amazing Race contestants had a serious allergic reaction and had to have oxygen administered. We had an expedited landing in YVR. She's alert and talking and they're getting her off the plane first.

I hope that contestant is ok and was able to continue on with the race. Severe alleries are serious.

Hope she was okay :(

Wonder if it was the beef jerky. That could set certain people off.

Going back to the remaining legs in the race,

I see for the rest of the season:

Leg 4: International (Asia or Australia)
Leg 5: International

Then I think 1 leg in Ontario, 1 leg in Québec, and maybe 2 legs in the Maritimes (Maybe Fredericton and PEI)
With a finale in a big city: Edmonton or Winnipeg
