Which fails to contradict how at least one team has been eliminated, either in Squamish or Dawson City.

Actually Both team 1 and 4 could still be in the race.
If leg 1 was non-elimination, then a team seen in Dawson, but not seen here in Duncan could have been eliminated.
Ex: Team 3, 6 and 9 have not yet been seen in Duncan
Last american season, we didn't see the skiers between leg 2 and 4, and lots of people were quick to say they were eliminated in leg 3!
