If they really want to follow the coastal city theme we speculate, either cape town or Mauritus will come next probably

South Africa is definitely safe and I have to rule out Israel due to travel warning in nearby Palestinian territories (West Bank and Gaza Strip).

Here are some options I think could work for the rest of the race;
Israel
Cape Town
Mumbai
Nepal
Aust or NZ
West Coast Finish

Could be an either Cape Town or Israel or both

Depends where another double leg might be.


This is  just my unsupported spec lol, don't hold me to it. + a lot of wishlist!

West Bank actually isn't too bad in some of the more touristy portions

There are even 3 highways that are deemed safe enough for travel through

They could even do tasks in Jericho, Bethlehem, or at the banks of the Dead Sea if they wanted (best location for Dead Sea swimming is within Palestinian borders)

Can also more efficiently get to Masada via the safe Palestinian roads
