I still think this is a NEL. They prob want more teams racing in Africa for the filming. The eliminated team has to fly all the way back from Africa to sequester in Europe. They prob would keep them around another leg until they all leave at the same time

I thought that from F6 eliminated teams don't go into sequester and just travel with production along the route, used as decoys and leg testers.

Mystery team is an MM team ( Eaters, Indy 500, Violinists or NBA)

I don't think its NBA but everyone else is fair game.

I'd guess it's either Indy or violin. Ball went out after the leg in France of the video clip we saw of them having a speed bump.

Getting late in the race now, the rest of the route's going to be interesting, has to be big jumps from here on to get back to the states.

Wonder if they'd actually do a third leg in Africa for the first time in years. Still hopeful for at least one Oceania leg at the end, but the chance is lessening in the time left since at least two Asian countries per season are the norm

Where did it say they were 5 and 6? We do not know that

No we don't .. All we know is a person saw them at the pitstop took some photos, went back to work came back and everything was gone.  We are not even sure how long they were gone for.

NO way to tell their or anyone elses placement for this leg unless we get some more photos.

All we know is that

1) Ski Girls and LIfeguards placed close to eachtoher
2) The leg if definietly over.

This could very well be a NEL too so keep that in mind.. All 6 teams could still be there for the next one.

I think there might be confusion as to "pitstop" in that thread. Another claim says First Street near Econet Shop.

I agree; the "Topics" shop and Greenwood Pharmacy in the photo puts them near the corner of First and Silundika.

It almost looks like they were waiting for their penalty and decided to eat an ice cream while waiting, and then the skiers showed up and both team checked in...

Sometimes esp when HOt they get a treat...coconuts, ice cream, etc

Post leg Interviews are done right after they leave Mat.

Can placement be deduced by looking at shadows? In the picture of Jody, there's a solid shadow over most of the mat. In the picture of lifeguards/skiers, there's sun on the mat and the shadow is "dappled" (from the trees). Not sure whether this was in the am or pm.

Cody definitely does not look happy. But he is known to be expressionless sometimes. Phil's hands seem to be saying "what happened?" Don't want to jump to any conclusions, but I'm not getting a good vibe from this picture.

"More upset?"  I don't know how you're coming to that conclusion. There's a shadow on his face.
