Why are there so many "beautiful" teams on The Amazing Race?

Team wise , The Amazing Race has been lacking in diversity. There are way too many young and youthful teams . Honestly , I miss the Grandparent teams or mother and daughter teams. I also miss teams like Kevin and Drew who were funny and competitive in a subtle way.

I don't enjoy how there's a lack of diverse teams on the modern Amazing Race.

P.S.- I feel the show has moved away from the concept of having regular folk as contestants. The show is more focused on stunt casting rather than having regular folk. There is an overload of stunt seasons of recent memory.

Yes, I agree with you. We need more mother/daughter, father/daughter and grandparent teams on The Amazing Race!

I'm just praying that TAR30 isn't another gimmick season...
I can be okay with the type of casting you're referring to, as long as they're the regular people who have been fans of the show.

However, I don't want another desperate plea for views via a 'special' group of contestants.
