My thought was that there are 3 pieces to the clue, so why not 3 express passes. I think there was no strategy behind them screaming it out... but now everyone knows they have it... which can be a blessing (ie trade for help) or a curse (as teams now will want to flush it out, ie a uturn is coming).
Life appears back to normal in Fort Mac, but in BC next door fires are raging... and some of these fires are near next weeks leg

I currently have calculated the averages of each team, and the averages of non-eliminated teams are almost even after two legs, due to a lot of shuffling in placements.
Four teams currently have an average of 5, another two have averages off of 5 by 0.5, and two other teams have averages of 3 and 3.5 (K&R and S&P, respectively).
M&C join a rare club of teams of going from last to depart the second leg, to first in the second leg, and are one of the four teams with average of 5, the others being K&B (who have an EP), A&A, and K&I. Z&S have an average of 5.5, and A&E have a 4.5 average (which really makes you think that their average would be so much higher without the 2 hour penalty).
K&R seem to be the top dogs, but they do have weaknesses. However, they also still hold 2 EPs (one for themselves, the other to coerce a team for aid in the next leg for the EP). S&P seem to be the consistent top pack team (though I see their success landing them short), while Z&S, despite having the lowest average of teams still in the race, are also consistent in being a mid-pack team that could sneak into the top pack later in the race.
