There are 4 out of the 6 first placer  teams that fall into last place after winning the previous leg ( 3 teams were eliminated) in TARA 5, with the following name:

Alpheus and Brandon : eliminated in the second leg after winning first leg
JK & Mike : eliminated in Yogyakarta after winning the leg in Singapore
Treasuri & Louisa : eliminated in Banyuwangi after winning in Yogyakarta
Eric and Rona : last place at the finale after winning in Banyuwangi

With only Yvonne and Chloe who avoided this "curse" (they won in Bandung).... Not counting Parul and Maggie (won at finale)
