I ♥ TAR:
The biggest joy:
Cast - omg, I love this cast. Very unique. First blind racer and also first stepparent/stepchild(?) team in TAR history. Compared to US version we have the first "alternative looking" female team and young lesbian team. It's long time since we have interacial male team (Mark & Bopper - TAR 20) or older female team (Carol & Brandy / Monica & Shawne - TAR 16!!!!!) in TAR US. I also love higher number of female teams this season. This cast really delivered, imo.  :)

The biggest dissapointment:
Staying in Canada/Lack of international legs - Canada legs got really boring after 4 seasons, tbh. I wish they would travel more international. Vietnam and Cuba were highlihts this season and international legs are usually the most interesting ones in this franchise, imo. I was dissapointed by only one leg in Cuba.

Maanca:
The domestic was great the first 2 seasons, they finished checking off a leg in every province/territory.

Though IMO at least New Brunswick deserved this second visit after that ARI the first time of working at Dairy Queen =/

But with the disappointing ratings/lessened promotion from CTV this year, I wouldn't get my hopes up for an increase in international - If it gets another season, no official announcement yet - that probably means they'll come back with a smaller budget.

Let's hope they fix this before TARC 5!

I was one of the biggest supporters of TARC going International, but I have now resigned myself to knowing it will never be. The most I can hope for is one or two more Int'l legs. If there is a S5, I expect Air Canada to play a bigger part in sponsorship. I forget who originally pointed it out (Maanca? Leafs?) but they hit the nail on the head with S4 and AC sponsoring the Rio Games. Maybe they are waiting an announcement on Air Canada backing???

Ok then. What about 6 legs IN Canada and 6 legs OUT of Canada?

gamerfan09:
This season was amazing, but sadly as mentioned above the Canada legs were the downfall of the season and this season would easily have been in my Top 5 seasons ever had we had full international. For now it barely swoops into the Top 10.

The Julie & Lowell boot episode was IMO an excruciatingly awful leg. Unbalanced Detour? U-Turn? Boring memorisation task? Thank goodness this cast elevated the bad material they're given to race in.

Let's also not forget Rita & Yvette's boot leg where the ENTIRE leg was physical and Kelly & Kate having flights in the middle of the leg and a "only two people at once" Roadblock in theirs.

Definitely. And to think that that was our first english season in a long time with 12 teams  :groan:
