--- Quote from: Alphaeus on October 22, 2016, 11:00:14 PM ---From first to last place, with no other teams in sight over the hilly green fields of Bandung, Brandon shouted; "DON'T GIVE UP!". I panted; "NEVER, WE NEVER WILL!".

I am proud that Brandon and I never gave up at any point during the race and truly did our best till the very end. Sadly, it just wasn't our leg;

1. The time reset had wiped our first place lead
2. The added pressure of a team following us
3. The locals who gave us multiple wrong directions

The only real regret that I have is to our friends, families and fans. In everything that we did, we did it for them and we are truly sorry to have disappointed everyone.

To the Malaysian fans, I have high hopes for our teams. They represent the best qualities of any Malaysian and I hope you will get to see that in later episodes.

Brandon and I would have loved to carry further the message of "Youths Can Change The World", but that is not so important now.

Because, Chloé and Yvonne are carrying a more important message for all women. Tough and beautiful both inside and out, they are no typical beauty queens.

Sorry,
#TARABrandonAlph.

Welcome to RFF :luvya: :conf: :cheer:

georgiapeach:
We are so pleased to have you here Alphaeus!!  :welcome2: to RFF!

You did not let down anyone. You got bad directions. We just got a way to watch today, but you both fought hard until the end. I was very proud of how you both raced. Loved that you wrapped the eggs in leaves, that was a great idea.

I was also impressed with your choosing the more difficult physical detour in Leg 1. What made you choose that one?

I was sure you both would go further, and am so s d for you and for us that it did not happen. You can be very proud of how you raced. Loved seeing your friendship.

And do feel free to update on your Youth campaign, would love to hear more.

Thank you for joining us here!!

Hi GeorgiaPeach, hey everyone,

Brandon's and my approach in tackling a detour is picking one that has a definite end game. In Leg 1, "Fix" required fixing and decorating a bicycle to the "satisfaction of a judge". However, "Freight" required moving sand to a hull, and nobody could have stopped us from completing that. Hence, we chose "Freight".

Thank you for supporting Brandon and me on the show. We will keep our spirits high, always. Come join everyone from TARA5 for meet and greets (details will be shared soon). Unfortunately, I am not free to comment so much on the show but, it's great to see such an active forum here. Enjoy the later episodes, much love for RFF! Bye! <3

georgiapeach:
We will def be following you and look forward to more!

And reminder to all our posters:  Current racers CANNOT and WILL NOT discuss any future episodes, so please don't ask.

Excellent strategy. We know from TAR that ANY judging can be subjective. You did great at that task anyway!
