From the looks of it, I think this is gonna be one of the better domestic legs this season.
THIS is every bit the Nova Scotia leg they should have done sooner. Digging into the province's Scottish/Colonial roots in Cape Breton, the heart of it. Halifax last season was very meh.
14-17 is the awesome Cabot Trail I was talking about during filming. This may just be stock, though - that's the western half of the island. We didn't get anything from there.
Detour/U-Turn is at Highland Village Museum in the village of Iona (Dot A), and is highland dancing (my late grandmother did this, btw. We still have her ceremonial sword :) ) or...I'm not entirely sure what the log-and-chain thing is. We have a couple of Cape Bretoners on this board who may know.
ARI task is Fortress of Louisbourg (Dot B). This the task we saw on webcam. Seems the barrels they're rolling through the street are full of gunpowder, which they have to then use to fill and set off a cannon. We also saw sheep run periodically by the camera that day, maybe no connection (or Rita & Yvette's Speed Bump?)
Task, probably Roadblock at Coast Guard College in Sydney (center dot) unknown. Maybe it'll be in the sneak peek.
A lot of mileage on this leg. Each of these locations are like 40 minutes apart.

A couple new scenes from the commercial!
The task at the Coast Guard College is a water search-and-rescue. Looks like a Roadblock indeed
Joel is carrying a pole for the caber toss at the Detour. (It's a Highland Games event where they throw a tapered wooden pole so it lands on its end)
The sheep at the fortress may be involved somehow. They showed the flock with the voiceover "...and wooly"
