if they need 3 flights to get out from Jogja then the most possible next destination is Banyuwangi. Banyuwangi has a small airport, and the only way to get there is via Surabaya. But i doubt that Garuda has a direct flight from Jogja to Surabaya. So they need to get to Jakarta first. The possible flight that Allan and crew took: Jogja to Jakarta, Jakarta to Surabaya then Surabaya to Banyuwangi.

I think that is the Kawah Ijen Volcano climb. Both the blue fence and the baskets used by the miners to carry out the sulfur match.
