Super strong first leg! The cast looks like it's going to live up to the expectations! I didn't find the leg rushed to be honest, think we had an even spread of tasks and introduction to teams. It's a pity the first RB had to be cancelled. Would've been nice to see how it would've played out. I think the most vanilla team got eliminated. Anne & Tanya's sense of direction is definitely going to hinder them :lol:

Amazing Premiere. Easily my favourite TARCAN premiere and probably my favourite TAR Premiere in a long time, period.

Jillian is hilariously OTT and this is probably the exes dynamic TARCAN wanted but didn't get from Dujean & Leilani. I loved Jillian on BBCAN and even though her edit is unflattering, it's honestly amazing to see them both in a new light. Love them so much.

Anne & Tanya are also great. There is honestly something beautiful about a team that messes up so bad (dropping to last while being on the first flight), staying in last, and then leaping to safety because of a team's mistake. It honestly reminded me of Lucy & Emilia to a smaller extent and both of them seem really fun. I hope they do well.

Ashley's Roadblock meltdown was AMAZING and them randomly skipping the SLT was hilarious. They're really cool so far and Joel has the potential to be the dryly fun teammate.

Kelly & Kate, like Anne & Tanya, were complete wrecks as well. LOL at their raft.

Frankie & Amy were just generally fun throughout the leg and nothing makes me happier than seeing happy people on The Amazing Race.

Steph & Kristen were really strong... really like Natalie & Meghan + they are positive and cute too so I like them!

Stephané & Antoine are basically Dennis & Andrew 2.0 and Stephané was really inspirational when he did that RB. Already one of my favourite father/son team in all TARs (showing how much father/son casting sucks on this franchise).

Rita & Yvette weren't so visible, but whenever they were on they were fun.

I was worried Lowell would eat up screentime but a lot of it focused on Lowell being oblivious of almost everything and Julie being a panicky person at the Roadblock. Loved it.

Anthony & Brandon had a cute deer comment and after that they were pretty much likable enough but not to the extent of everyone. Acceptable and nice first boots.

Really excited for the rest of the season!  :conf:

So from the preview, apparently going for the Express Passes involves more of a task this time. Looks like they have to chase down some kind of musical bus full of vinyl records through the downtown. That sounds like it's going to be hilarious just describing it.

Maybe this should have been in the Episode 2 thread, but I can't post there until after Oval does :)

If all the teams continued doing the first RB, I think Anthony & Brandon would be safe but well, they were not that great (at least based on the episode) for me to be sad. I think Jilian & Emmett will receive villain edit of bickering couples?
